my entry for @putrid.hound’s 6th DTIYS challenge
the mask gave me the idea to do a sorta “armored” tiger
so i added some spiky pauldron/shin guard things :-3
he’s like an exiled knight that wanders the badlands…
swipe to the end to see @putrid.hound’s original concept

DTIYS challenge prize for @sythinvoxe
i had soo much fun drawing this character, he's so coooool 🔥
also, i'm so sorry i haven't been posting! things have been nonstop draining my life for the past year to a point that i got so depressed i stopped doing any of my hobbies, but that's all gone and i'm really tryin to get back into it!

on that note, i'd like to do another DTIYS challenge soon! if you'd like, comment 3-5 emojis that create a theme of something you'd like to see in the next "draw this in your style" challenge! you could win an illustration like this one!

a new bombshell has entered the villa: althos!
i went crazy with layering effects on clip studio to achieve something weird and otherworldly, i've been feeling really overwhelmed and suffocated and anxious lately. life just doesn't give u a break sometimes, but i forget how healing it feels to have the ability to convey those emotions through art. feelings will pass, art is forever!
original drawing is on the last slide cuz i ended up liking all the crazy edits more than the original hehe

⚜️DTIYS RESULTS⚜️

winning entry goes to: @sythinvoxe !
this one was my favorite, because the colors in the sky are so insane, and the moodiness of the wolf with the perspective drawn, its encapsulating!

the close second i'd like to mention is @slightlyunderrated.art 's entry! i loved the background, the crazy directions of the borealis, and the wolf is very well drawn, i loved the fullbody pose!!

featured artists:
@slightlyunderrated.art
@kayds.art
@jimiilee_rw
@jj.drawss
@crocutate
@astrallaart
gl1tch_xs.h
@crimson.wolf.930
@snooky_draws
@art_by_sgw

WOWOW!! so many beautiful renditions of this drawing, it was so hard to choose a winner! i really appreciate everyone who entered, i loved seeing all your entries ;w; this was so fun, i'd love to do another one again in the future! i wish i could make everyone a winner and make prizes for everyone but i am just 1 fella 😔❤️

thank you to everyone who participated and shared this post during the challenge!! 🫶 we will do another one again soon! by @novatooth

⚜️𝒟𝑅𝒜𝒲 𝒯𝐻𝐼𝒮 𝐼𝒩 𝒴𝒪𝒰𝑅 𝒮𝒯𝒴𝐿𝐸⚜️

⚜️CLOSED 4 SUBMISSIONS ⚜️

heyy! i've been wanting to host my own DTIYS for the longest time, this was an idea i got while looking at aurora borealis photos for painting references, and i love how it turned out, so i'm super excited to announce this drawing as my first DTIYS challenge!

⚜️RULES⚜️
• re-create your own version of the drawing above!
• use the hashtag #novadtiys1 in your post to make sure your entry gets counted!
• include the first slide image in your post so that others can see the original drawing
•you don't have to be following to enter, but sharing this post to your story will get you brownie points 🙂‍↕️
•any medium can be used! traditional, digital, animation, physical creations, you name it! just make sure it stays within the theme
-no specific characters, but you may change the animal if you want to draw a different animal than a wolf! just make sure it stays within the theme! fullbody or multiple animals in the scene would be fine, or humans as well!
•no tracing, I wanna see your version! I'm not gonna be mad if you do, but it will decrease your chances of winning
•asking for extended time is absolutely fine! if you need more time to finish your entry, comment or DM me and I can work with you

⚜️DEADLINE⚜️
•march 17th - june 1st

⚜️PRIZES⚜️
•once this challenge ends, the winner will get a full digital painting from me!
•there will be one winner, and features for honorable mentions in a post
•in the event this ends up getting a bunch of entries and I can't choose my favorite, I may end up choosing more than one prize winner!

that's about it! if you have any more questions about the challenge, or if I missed any important information, feel free to comment or DM me! I look forward to seeing all your gorgeous entries 🔥

hi long time no post! i’m getting used to CSP on the ipad since my surface pro died, its a bit different than csp on windows but i been having fun with it

i didn’t rly like nova’s colors so i did a bit of a redesign, they needed more burnt lookin fur and more poison dart frog looking spots. they’re a lil more unique that way i think! the plant is a philo ring of fire, i hope u like 🫶
