POSTS STORIES REELS

So, I am beginning my querying process on January 2nd. If you want to get on the waiting list for pre-orders or for beta reading or general will she-do-traditional-publishing-or-self-publishing, go check it out! I created a ton of fun things and it'll be the hub for clues! Thank you for letting me share this writing process with you. I'm low key dying inside but this story is so so special to me. About a girl with a fragile heart she wraps up in sarcasm even when there's danger afoot. Her journey is about finding her found family and letting herself love. Also this trailer took me six hours of my life so PLZ share it 😅

If you go to our website... There's a fun little surprise on there that by @novelboundpodcast

Help meeee find Letty!
i found this little book in a secondhand bookshop in edinburgh, and now i’m on a mission to find the woman who owned it.

it’s *friday’s child* by georgette heyer, printed in august 1944, right in the middle of wwii. inside is a handwritten name that i believe says letty currey (or possibly currie).

i keep imagining her reading this book while bombs were falling on england, while families were waiting for news from loved ones, while the world outside was so uncertain. what a comfort it must have been to disappear into another world for a little while. i wonder where she read it, how old she was, what her life looked like, and whether she ever imagined this little book would still be around 82 years later.

i know, i’m getting attached to a complete stranger (and her book), but i’d really love to find her!

if you know anyone in edinburgh or scotland, recognize the name, or have any ideas about where to look, please share or tag them. i’d love to piece together her story.

let’s find letty!!! by @novelboundpodcast

I have so many weird dating experiences and this was one of the most…. Interesting. 😩😩😂 please tell me why he was doing that because I still think about it to this day #datingstorytime #flirting by @novelboundpodcast

I learned the Freaking hard way how to do all of this and spent years writing my first book so that I can share this with you! The resources listed is 16 personalities. It is free and I obviously don’t get any form of an affiliate link. The second thing that I love is the books that I listed, which is the emotion thesaurus and they were written by Angela and Becca and I put picture in the actual video so you can see it and screenshot it. But seriously if you want characters to have that, these are some of the biggest tools that I have if you have any interest in anymore, advice for me in the middle of my imperfect world I am so happy to share! I know what it’s like to be a new author and I just want everyone to feel so loved! by @novelboundpodcast

So here’s how to do it in your town: take your favorite video feed (mine is the clock app) and start searching your nearest city. For me it’s Sacramento and San Fran! So looking up “museums” and aesthetic and architecture and bookstores or whatever you want and within a few mins, your feed will start to be full of local recs that you’ve never seen before. Not the tourist traps but the like cool things! Then build out what your “cosplay” person would do for the day! Secure the babysitter, let your spouse know you’ll be gone for six hours, take a solid shower and put your phone on do not disturb. You don’t have to buy anything and this is just about you!!! by @novelboundpodcast

You do not have to read ALL these books. I myself am a mood reader and have kindle reads and physical books. My plan is to read these and share as I go! Right now I’m reading Anne of avonlea and Jane eyre and both are delicious! Feel free to jump in and talk about cows and the red room with me by @novelboundpodcast

I’m thinking we start off with Jane eyre because there’s NOTHING more autumn then dying of tuberculosis and then having your man dress like a gypsy and lock his wife in the attic now WHO IS WITH ME ARE YOU READY TO YEARN???

Also best part is all the audiobooks are free on YouTube YOU HAVE NO EXCUSES by @novelboundpodcast

I have struggled so much as of late to find books that just feel SO GOOD and have you kicking your feet while also being fun and creative! Most of these are closed door but have SIMMERING tension, if they are a little more spicy I have a pepper by them. If it’s one pepper it’s super skippable, if it’s two it’s got a little more of a kick haha. But some are classics, some are fantasy, some are indie and ALL ARE DELICIOUS. I tried to find ones that people haven’t really heard of before or aren’t trending a ton on the internet! Happy reading!

Oh wait! I think Austen affair had a couple of spice scenes but I read it so fast 💨 lol
Comment below if there’s a book you love that I’ve missed, or if there’s one on here you’re obsessed with! by @novelboundpodcast

Moral of the story: never meet your heroes because you will just embarrass yourself further #authorevent #bookishevents #booknerd #embarrassing by @novelboundpodcast

I can’t tell you how much the last fifteen days in Europe changed me. I got to walk through streets that aged centuries and ate breakfast in cottages on the coast and more importantly, hear of the tales that inspired my favorite books. I want to simmer all of this into my bones. #bookstagram #Scotland #outlander by @novelboundpodcast

Okay @isabelibanezbooks I see you 👏👏 I am in the first freaking chapter and I had to GO GET A PEN because I thought it was such a good study on how to establish a character to root for and understand the world around them. TAKING NOTES. by @novelboundpodcast
