Sharing this here because I’ve heard so much talk about self tapes and I wanted to share my perspective on how I watch them as a TV director. #auditions #selftapes #actors by @nowgogetitdone

I had the honor of speaking @oscar_oneal acting class and offer feedback for the actors performing. It was great to be in the room and give them a little piece of my creative knowledge. #actor #actingclass #advice #audition by @nowgogetitdone

When you meet someone who could change your career, “please hire me” is the fastest way to be forgotten.

Directors, actors, producers, casting: they hear that all day. What they remember is a real conversation. How do you make that encounter memorable and turn it into a lasting relationship? #actors #director #actingtips #advice #pitch by @nowgogetitdone

There’s always the question about how much to move in a Self tape. We are always being told should we move, move less. As an actor who’s also a director I wanted to share my take on that and show you an example of a recent self tape I did and how I moved. #actors #selftape #audition #advice by @nowgogetitdone

Sometimes we leave the eBay parts of us behind or we just haven’t discovered them yet. Don’t leave them behind, this is how we get to see who you are and who we will be working with. Plus, no one else can do you better than you. #actor #you #essence #filmmaker by @nowgogetitdone

This is just one of the conversations happening inside the BASH Vault.

The vault includes 80+ hours of masterclasses from casting directors, agents, coaches, filmmakers, and other people who actually work in the industry and know what they’re talking about.

If you are a VIP, you have access to everything until September 30.

Comment VAULT and we’ll send you the details. by @nowgogetitdone
