So aside from Trump, the top official in the Board of “Peace”, Nickolay Mladenov, worked for a pro-Israel lobby group funded by AIPAC. And now he negotiates on behalf of Netanyahu to decide the future of Gaza. by @nowinpalestine

Every season brings new suffering for displaced families in Gaza. As winter approaches, thousands of tents in low lying areas are at risk of flooding with the next storm. The few possessions families have managed to keep after repeated displacement can be washed away overnight.

Preparation is the best form of prevention.

Before the rains arrive, we can bring in truckloads of sand to elevate the ground, build protective barriers around tents, and help prevent floodwater from rushing into shelters.

On October 9, The Sameer Project delivered four truckloads of sand to Al-Sawarha Camp at $450 per trip. That's $1,800 after commission transfer fees to help protect an entire camp before the storms arrive.

We did it in Al-Sawarha. Now we need to help other displacement camps across Gaza.

Don't wait until families have lost everything in the floodwater to act. Support our Winter campaign by donating to our General Fund, the link is in our bio. by @nowinpalestine

To the Western media: We know you don’t care about #Palestinians. But at the very least, have the integrity to report the attacks on your fellow journalists who are simply trying to do their jobs.
Your silence is a disgrace to the very profession you claim to uphold. @shahhatun

A freed Palestinian woman from Gaza says Israeli prison guards raped her four times in a single week, according to lawyer Khaled Mahajna of the Commission of Detainees’ and Ex-Detainees’ Affairs, who relays her testimony. He says more than five or six guards took turns, against a woman who was helpless and unable to defend herself. Mahajna, one of the few lawyers able to visit Palestinian detainees, describes male guards storming women’s cells at night, pulling off their headscarves, and blackmailing them over private matters, details he says are too painful to repeat. Around 90 Palestinian women are being held hostage in Israeli prisons today, from the West Bank, Jerusalem and the lands occupied in 1948, and most of them are in administrative detention without charge or trial. All the women from Gaza have since been freed in exchange deals, but with the situation in Gaza today, he warns, anyone could be taken again. Her account is one of many. The Palestinian Centre for Human Rights has documented testimonies from freed Gaza detainees, both women and men, describing r*pe, forced nudity, sexual a**ult with objects and dogs, and electric shocks, which it says amount to a systematic policy rather than isolated incidents.

Seven-year-old Mohammed Khalil Al-Jabali was diagnosed in April with acute cancer of the blood and bone marrow. He spent a month at Al-Rantisi Children’s Hospital and has now been moved to intensive care at Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City. He can no longer walk, his condition has developed serious complications, and his mother says nothing the doctors in Gaza can offer is working anymore. The Israeli occupation spent three years of genocide bombing and besieging Gaza’s hospitals, and it still restricts the medicine and equipment allowed into the Strip, so no hospital in Gaza can give him the treatment he needs. The only way out runs through crossings the Israeli occupation controls, and it decides which sick children may leave and when. “I beg you, get my son out,” his mother pleads to Arab and foreign governments.

Gaza’s Health Ministry says about 21,000 patients and wounded are now waiting on medical evacuation lists. At the pace the Israeli occupation allows evacuations, clearing them could take four years. Mohammed may not have four months. His family is asking the World Health Organization, the Palestinian Ministry of Health and anyone with the power to act to evacuate him urgently. If you can’t do anything else, share this so his mother’s appeal reaches someone who can.

“But parting is tough. Parting is tough.” These were Samah Shehadeh’s words in 2023, after Israeli occupation forces killed her 24-year-old son, Jehad, in Tulkarm.
Nearly three years later, the 47-year-old Palestinian mother faced another painful separation. Israeli forces detained her near the Jabara military checkpoint, forcing her to leave behind her two other children. by @nowinpalestine

All of Shuja’iyya is now under the full control of the Israeli occupation army. Since Sunday, Israeli occupation forces have been pushing the Yellow Line west through one of Gaza City’s largest neighbourhoods, dragging the yellow concrete blocks forward at night until they sit right beside the tents of displaced families. In parts of western Shuja’iyya, the blocks are now just 10 metres from Salah Al-Din Street. Families woke to heavy gunfire from military vehicles and quadcopters aimed at their tents, and hundreds have fled in the dark with nowhere to go and not even a tent waiting for them. “It destroyed everything,” the man filming says, “and turned this area into fire and rubble on whoever remained.” This morning, the occupation also moved the line forward in neighbouring Al-Tuffah, along the same road. Palestinian researchers say the Yellow Line now confines Gaza’s population to about 40 percent of the Strip, and a year into the ceasefire, that space shrinks every few nights.

One brave lioness standing alone against six armed cowards. @shahhatun
All she wants is to harvest olives on her own land in Al-Mughayyir, #Palestine. Her only “crime” is trying to exercise her right to her own land.
Imagine needing courage just to harvest the olives on your own land. Imagine six fully armored men threatened by one woman simply exercising her right to be there.

Her courage is undeniable. Their cowardice speaks for itself.

#Palestine is her land. She has every right to be there. And no amount of intimidation should ever take that right away.

This was village of Ein Yabrud, east of Ramallah. These attacks are occurring daily in the West Bank at a horrifying rate. Journalists are being intimated and the incidents are becoming too many to report on each one.

These t•rror•sts are armed by the ISRLI government and enjoy the protection of the IOF. by @nowinpalestine

“They put up one flag, then two, then three. We are rooted here in our land,” says Mu’ayyad Mahmoud, whose small coffee shop on the main Nablus-Ramallah road in Al-Lubban Al-Sharqiya, south of Nablus, is now buried under Israeli flags. At dawn on Wednesday, Israeli colonial terrorists, protected by the Israeli occupation army, stormed the village entrance and planted iron poles carrying the flags at the doors of homes and shops, blocking residents from getting in and out. Mu’ayyad says more than a hundred of them spent two to three hours driving the poles into the ground around his shop, which sits directly in front of his house, and that he sat inside afraid they would attack his children. When he took down the flags blocking his entrance so he could work, the colonists piled them back up, and the Israeli occupation army told him he was not allowed to remove them. Customers no longer stop by, and the flags now follow him from home to work and back. “We won’t budge from here,” he says. “A mountain is not shaken by the wind.”
