We're NOWN — we make architectural ceiling and wall systems that are simple to install. We work with three materials: knit, PET felt, and metal.

This is Atmosphera® at Deloitte, Shoe Lane, London.

Atmosphera® is our modular fin ceiling system, and this one pushed the customisation. Each fin carries a powder-coated channel along its bottom edge, fitted without glue. The geometry called for over 800 unique manufactured parts.

The alignment system stays hidden. All you see is the ceiling.

Thank you to iLE Solutions and Perkins & Will team for the collaboration.

The wedding hall. Hôtel de Ville d'Évry-Courcouronnes. We took Delacroix's Liberty Leading the People and encoded it into custom perforated metal using spectRAL. The image isn't printed. It lives in the perforation itself.

A big thank you to SAFA Architecture for trusting us with this one. 🙏

spectRAL is a custom-perforated metal wall and ceiling tile — you draw the pattern in our online interface, pick a RAL, and it gets laser-cut and shipped. Drops into a standard 600×1200 grid.

Aesthetically pleasing is a choice. So is everything behind it.

We're talking discipline, obsession, a hell of a lot of tiny nightmares — and the moments of satisfaction that make it worth it. That's the NOWN way.

spectRAL is a custom-perforated metal wall and ceiling tile — standard 600×1200 panel, designed by you in our online interface .

On a wall, it hooks onto the NOWN Wall Channel. The channel fixes back to the substrate, the trim conceals the edge. No visible fixings. No specialist trades. Frameless finish.

spectRAL. Hung in an afternoon.
