If you know me, you know I’ve struggled with plantar fasciitis for a long time.

Since I started playing in NOX shoes, the difference for me has been incredible — more comfort, more support, and no more of the pain I used to experience on the court. 🙌

So I couldn’t wait to unbox my new Lux Tempo 2 Sugar Swizzle. 👟🔥

They look AMAZING, they feel even better, and I genuinely recommend giving NOX a try.

When business class is available, why make your paddle travel economy? 😉
My @noxpickleball bag is basically business class for my game - spacious, comfortable, organised and made for players who travel with their game.
✔️ Space for multiple paddles
✔️ Separate shoe compartment
✔️ Plenty of room for clothes, balls & essentials
✔️ Comfortable backpack carry
✔️ Sleek grey design that looks as good off-court as it does on it
Because when you’re travelling tournament to tournament, your gear deserves an upgrade too 🩶

Seguim! 🤪💪🏻🧠

Still believing. Still working. Still improving.

Winning a gold medal in a professional singles event at almost 45 years old means something different to me today.

This sport is becoming faster, younger, stronger, and more athletic every year. But I’ve learned that work, discipline, preparation, and planning can still be powerful tools when you embrace the opportunities in front of you.

That’s why I’m grateful.

The one thing I can truly control is the work I put in when nobody is watching. The discipline to keep improving. The preparation. The choices I make every day to take care of my body and my game.

Winning can happen for many different reasons. Sometimes you play great. Sometimes things go your way. Sometimes you get a little lucky.

But if I lose, and I know I respected my work ethic, gave everything I had, and stayed committed to the process, I can still be at peace with myself.

Because the result is never completely in our control.

The work is.

And none of this is possible alone.

Thank you to @noxpickleball for creating products that give me real comfort and support as I continue competing at this level, while helping me recover and take care of my body so I can keep doing what I enioy.

Thank you to my family @piperpmedina @delapazartist and my closest friends @coach_mlopez @salvadorpalazon @ronynaydenov98 for bringing so much joy, accountability, and perspective into my life on and off the court. You give me more than you probably realize.

And to anyone out there thinking about trying something new but believing that age is a barrier:

Don’t let the number decide what’s possible.

Take one step at a time.
Put in the work.
Stay disciplined.
Keep learning.
Keep your passion alive.
