🖤A Lesson in Deceit Review🖤

Happiest of Release Days to @allieshantewrites who wrote this incredible book! I am so freaking proud of you! 😘

A Lesson in Deceit is Available Now

Review

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I said I wanted a sandwich and Allie Shante DELIVERED.

I’ve been feral for this book since January, counting down the days until I could get my grubby little hands on its delicious, spicy pages. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint. This book is HOT. Like, fan-yourself-and-hide-it-from-your-grandma hot. You better run off to Amazon and grab a copy immediately.

Riley enrolls at Mystic Riegan University to solve a mystery, which just so happens to be her boyfriend’s school. Did I mention his cutie patootie best friend also goes there? And his brother? Oh, and he's the grumpy AF professor who could ruin your life and you'd thank him for it. Yeah. This is a why choose paranormal romance that will absolutely wreck you in the best way.

River had me swooning. 🫠 He’s literally the most supportive boyfriend and best friend. I mean, who wouldn’t want a telepath boyfriend and a bestie with shadow ropes? That’s just smart life planning.

Allie Shante writes truly iconic characters. Riley’s “touch her and die” roomie? 💅Obsessed. Every side character felt like someone I’d want in my corner... except that one guy (you know the one).

I loved the magic and witchy vibes, especially seeing the different types of powers. The way the school system was set up for both magic and non-magic users felt unique, and the college setting added a cozy feel to the story. Even though we're solving a *spoiler* unfortunate incident. 🗡️

But above all, it was the found family that got me. The way these characters built something real together? 🧑‍🍳😘 Riley wasn’t just the center of their universe, she was the person that tied River, Grayson, and Asher together. River and Grayson had something beautiful between them, and Riley embraced that.

And Allie? That ending? HOW DARE YOU.

I highly, highly recommend this book to any why choose lover and suggest you run, not walk to Amazon now. 🏃🏃🏃

This book is HOTTER than Purgatory 🔥🔥🔥

Review of Living Legend by @allieshantewrites

Angels, demons, and… surprise alliances?

Listen, Linda… we came for the demon shadow mommy and stayed for the morally confused angel boy. Nobody’s keeping score on who made who come or how often… but if they were, well...

This book kicks off with a demon slipping through a portal to Heaven’s Gate, and suddenly the angelic golden boys have to work with a couple of demon girlies to fix the mess. Men, honestly.

The banter is top-tier, not just between our main MCs, Dani and Nicholas, but Reese and Elise had me actually laughing out loud. Add in forced proximity, tangled emotions, tension, and this book is hot enough to heat Hell itself. Between mystery, betrayal, and shifting loyalties, the lines between good and evil blur. It’s messy, it’s intense, and I am here for it.

This book was so well written with strong attention to detail. Some of my favorite moments came from the dialogue. Allie’s humor really came through in her writing, and Mr. Cassial (Nick’s dad) stole the show. I died and came back to life so many times during chapters 15-18. 🤣

Now, about the spice, it was spicing. I’m pretty sure my fire alarm started going off at one point and I just kept reading.

If you’re into fantasy romance, great banter, and fierce female leads who give as good as they get, grab Living Legend now.

Living Legend is Book 1 of the Living Legend series. It's available on Kindle Unlimited and Audible.

PS: Can I get Mr Cassial's number?

Happy World Book Day! 📚

Today is the perfect time to celebrate the power of books and the joy of reading.

Reading shaped my childhood; fantasy stories were my escape when I needed one most. Even now, I find more comfort in reading than peopling. 😅

So, what better day to recommend one of my favorite series? Artefacts of Ouranos by @nishajtwrites has everything a fantasy romance series should: a feisty FMC, magic, deadly trials, betrayal, a morally questionable prince, and an incredible plot. 👀 Oh, and the feminine rage? So satisfying. 🤌

Finishing this series was bittersweet. I started it crying, I ended it crying. Tale of the Heart Queen, the fourth and final book, tied everything together: Lor’s transformation, coming into her power, the backstory that puts a twist on everything, and *spoiler* the epic showdown. And don’t even get me started on the man at her side. 😭

You know how you can read a book and not remember what happened? Not this series, it has burned itself into my being so I'll never stop thinking about it. 😂

And when I say I recommend it, I mean go read it this instant. ❤️ Happy World Book Day!

"The only difference between a man and a monster is a man's own reckoning."

Get ready to be hooked from page one!

Vanquished Gods is book two of the Hollowed Games Series by C.N. Crawford. It's a fast-paced, action-packed rollercoaster where banter and chemistry are absolutely off the charts. Plot twists? Oh, they're here and I'm living for them! And let me tell you, Sion's not the MMC we were expecting, but he was the MMC we all need! He is ruthless and complex and tempting AF.

Elowen is a fierce FMC who doesn't back down and I am obsessed! She'll do anything to protect her own.

Vampires, witches, and deadly touches – this book has it all. With morally gray characters, secrets, and heart-wrenching truths, it's no wonder my face is still stained with tears. 🤫

Tropes Include:
✨Vampires
✨Witches
✨Dark Gothic Vibes
✨MC with a Deadly Touch
✨Enemies to Lovers
✨Morally Gray Characters

If you're a fan of fantasy romance featuring morally-grey characters this series is for you! Out now and it's also available to read with Kindle Unlimited!

Thank you @cn_crawford and @mtmctours for the review copy! 🖤

PS if you work for my home owners insurance and saw this video, no you did not. 😂
