This open call is organised as part of the upcoming WOW – Women of the World Festival Nepal 2026, scheduled to be held in Kathmandu on 12 and 13 December. WOW is organised in Nepal by the British Council and this edition is hosted by Kathmandu Metropolitan City.
The WOW (Women of the World) Festival is a global arts, culture, and movement festival celebrating the achievements of women, girls, and gender-diverse people while confronting the barriers they face. This is the eight edition of WOW in Nepal. Learn more:

#WOWFestivalNepal is Back

What happens when teachers lead the way?

A key component of the Nepal AI for Teaching and Learning Initiative was an action research model in which 21 teacher-researchers investigated AI use in their teaching and CPD. Over an eight-week action research cycle, they explored practical ways of integrating AI into teaching, supported by mentors.

Teacher researchers demonstrated:
• AI-supported lesson design, learning activities and CPD
• Student work and outcomes
• Reflections on successes and challenges
• Practical approaches to multilingual teaching and learning

📢 Call for Proposals | Endline Evaluation

The British Council is seeking a qualified consulting agency to conduct an endline study for the programme“Strengthening quality inclusive early learning and institutional capacity within Nepal’s school education sector.” The study will assess improvements in learning outcomes among girls and boys in Grades 1–3.
