I played bass at my university’s choral concert for the Chamber Singers ensemble I sing in this past Friday!

This was extra special because it sort of happened pretty quickly, learning both the vocal part and the bass part, then just deciding to focus on the bass part for this specific arrangement of Blue Skies by Irving Berlin (arr. by Roger Emerson) for SATB vocal ensemble.

It’s fun to be a vocalist and a growing bassist in this season. It’s challenging, but good and allows me to use both skills at the same time too. Thank you so much to Dr. Davids for allowing me to participate in this ensemble as both a vocalist and an instrumentalist.

Ensemble:
NPU Chamber Singers
Conductor/Soloist - Tierra Whetstone 🌟
Yash Pawar - Keys
Talha Waqar - Electric Guitar
Victoria Flores - Upright Bass
Zach Oporto - Drums
