Against All Odds (short dance film) | Janice STFU - @champagnepapi

Moving from patient stillness to collective unleashing, the film follows a rise from individual resilience to shared power.
With fleeting echoes of Lutte Sénégalaise (laamb), it culminates in a posture echoing the Ziguéhi dance of Côte d’Ivoire.
A final stance of power and defiance, rooted in the neighborhood.

« my inner circle is my greatest source of inspiration »

His greatest source of inspiration :
It might sound cliché, but his inner circle is his biggest muse. Everyone brings a different perspective, each excelling in fields he doesn’t master and that pushes him to do better every day. When it comes to fashion, Rei Kawakubo and Yohji Yamamoto are names he must mention. Their non-conformism, bold choices, and unwavering commitment to their vision are what he finds most inspiring.

His first memory of fashion :
Dance. When you start practicing a dance style, you naturally want to adopt its visual codes. It began with electro skinny jeans, Vans, a crest haircut but he naturally moved into a major streetwear phase when he switched to hip-hop.

The most important piece in an outfit :
He believes it’s about the whole look, but if he had to choose one: the jacket. It’s the first thing people notice. The style and cut can say a lot about someone’s taste. It can be a statement piece or something more subtle, completing the outfit through layering.
