Meet the E-board! #blackengineers #nsbe #younggiftedandblack #region5nsbe #mozone

Hey Yall! I’m Devin Murry a senior Mechanical Engineering student. I am just a Memphis girl going to school in the Lou. I have been apart of the SLU NSBE chapter’s E-Board since its rechartering in 2023 and am amazed to see how much we have grown. I have served as Secretary x 2, Vice President and now President of our chapter. I’m so excited to serve and build a stronger not only black but Black STEM community at SLU.

Hello, world! I’m Dijon Askew, a senior undergraduate biomedical engineering student. I started my journey in NSBE as a senator, then became the secretary, and now I have been given the opportunity to serve as the vice president for this chapter here at Saint Louis University! I am forever grateful, and cannot wait to serve and provide for our rapid growing Black STEM community!

Hi, Everyone! My name is Deryck but I go by “DJ”! I am a senior studying Aerospace Engineering from STL. Last year, I served as the Programs Chair and now I am serving as the Treasurer! I am excited to see our black STEM community grow here at slu and also look forward to making the conference more available and affordable for students.

Hi everyone. My name is Danavan but you can call me Don! I’m a senior studying civil engineering with a focus in transportation engineering. I am NSBE program chair director and as director I want to improve student involvement in our NSBE chapter and ensure our NSBE events are more than exceptional. Overall I’m excited to see the growth of our chapter through the following year because big things are coming ;)

Hey y’all! I’m Lyric, a senior studying Mechanical Engineering, and I serve as your NSBE Secretary. Being a part of NSBE these last few years has been nothing short of amazing. I have found a community here, and I want to help foster that same sense of community, if not an even stronger one, within SLU NSBE. I can’t wait to see what joy this year brings!

Hey I’m Mayokun, Im a senior studying Computer Science. My journey with NSBE started my sophomore year where I was just a member, I eventually became Senator and a Social Media chair. I’m happy to taken in McDonald Douglas Hall. Saint Louis University by @nsbe_slu
