On Thursday, I graduated with my Bachelor’s in Molecular and Cellular Biology. This was the hardest thing I’ve ever done and I am so grateful for the friends, professors, and peers that I have made and met along the way. The clubs I joined gave me a community inside and outside of academia, along with conducting research amongst @therealarol , along with my own projects. I’d like to especially thank my parents, uncles and aunts, and cousins for being apart of my motivation. You all inspire me, and I’m thankful for your constant support and sacrifice to see me succeed. Most importantly, I did this for the younger me. A girl who was told that she would not amount to much, a little girl who struggled in math and science her whole life and had the courage to pick a STEM related major. I dedicate this degree to little me, as I move to make my younger self proud. As much as I will always cherish KSU, I can’t wait to create the rest of my future with the tools I’ve gained here. taken in Kennesaw State University College of Science and Mathematics by @nsphillips_
