PRIDE IS AN INSIDIOUS SIN. That means it hides itself inside your personality. Here are some things you should know about it:

(1) GOD resists it wherever He encounters it, regardless of it’s disguise.

(2) It can’t look up to a “regular” person. But it’s always looking down on someone.

(3) It’s obsessed with appearances & therefore can’t admit when it’s wrong.

(4) It doesn’t learn. It gathers information for the sake of proving its superiority by what it knows.

(5) It’s incapable of offering genuine apologies but will often demand them.

(6) It sees humility as weakness & fears being treated the way it treats others.

(7) It can’t see itself properly. So it calls itself by other, more noble names like ‘SELF ESTEEM’ BUT it’s still just PRIDE.

(8) It receives counsel from its best friend- ARROGANCE and hangs out daily with its cousin- HAUGHTINESS.

(9) It wants to be worshipped by all and sundry and wants it’s desire done when it wants it otherwise there will be an offense.

(10) PRIDE excites a charlatan and Empty Vessels cling to it as a life-line. It will always be cured by a Tablet known as a BIG FALL

Hope this made a little sense?

Satan is a thief & a murderer. He uses various forms of deception to steal, kill, & destroy. And among his arsenal is a weapon called FAMILIARITY. When familiarity is at work:

1. We ignore anything & anyone we become accustomed to.

2. We see no benefit in the gifts GOD has given us.

3. We mistreat or undervalue those who love us most.

4. We become bored with the people, positions, places, & possessions that others would die to have access to.

5. We miss the beauty in our surroundings & develop a “grass is greener” mentality.

BE CAREFUL....DON’T LET FAMILIARITY DESTROY WHAT YOU HAVE!!!

Hope this made little sense???
