Congratulations, DR. MARSH!! That’s right - DOCTOR! 💜🎓

The HMT Department is proud to congratulate our Interim Department Head, Dr. Marsh, on successfully defending her dissertation and completing all requirements of her Ph.D. in Hospitality Management from Iowa State University! She has officially been approved to graduate this December, marking an incredible milestone in her academic and professional journey.

Her accomplishment is a beautiful reminder that “Dreams don’t have deadlines, success doesn’t require a perfect path, and no accomplishment is ever truly achieved alone.”

More than earning a degree, her journey serves as an inspiration to her daughter, her students, and everyone who has had the privilege of learning from her. Her story reminds us that “The journey doesn’t have to look the way you imagined for the destination to be everything you dreamed.”

Please join us in celebrating this incredible achievement and the dedication, perseverance, and passion that brought her to this moment. We are so proud of Dr. Marsh and cannot wait to celebrate her graduation in December! 💜🎓

That’s a wrap on Dolly Week! 💕

Thank you to everyone who participated and donated! Together, we collected 2 tubs of food pantry donations and raised $100 for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library!

Still want to donate? We’re looking into keeping donations open next week with a table in the lobby of the Family and Consumer Sciences Building. Stay tuned for details!
