The North Toronto Group of Artists (NTGA) is a non-profit collective that celebrates local talents, showcasing original works spanning various styles: realism, abstraction, oil, acrylic, watercolor, encaustic, mixed media, and photography.

Run entirely by volunteers, our primary goal is to provide platforms for local artists to exhibit and sell their creations, notably through our annual spring and fall Outdoor Studio Tours. These free shows, organized by dedicated artists, offer a unique chance to explore diverse artwork styles, connect directly with creators, and support the local community through art purchases.

We eagerly anticipate each show as an opportunity to reconnect with our community and extend heartfelt gratitude to everyone supporting local art and artists!

✨What if you could collect a feeling? 🌅
That’s what I’m trying to capture in my Sunset Dream series— the memory, emotion and sense of being somewhere else that lingers after the light is gone.

Sunset Dream 20 is a new 40” × 30” painting with dreamlike layers of luminous acrylic pinks on a silver metallic spray painted background that shifts with light.
I created this series for collectors and design-led spaces that want art to create atmosphere, emotion and a story we can escape to and start a conversation.

✨ What draws you in first: the light, the colour, or the feeling?

Sunset Dream 20 is available at Art Interiors, 446 Spadina Road, Toronto. Comment or DM me “SUNSET” for current available artwork and for collector inquiries.

ABOUT
“The NTGA – This Is Us” celebrates the North Toronto Group of Artists and its contribution to our neighbourhood. We are a hyper-local collective, with members living within blocks of one another. Our artists differ in age, heritage, education, past careers, experience, and artistic practice. Each brings a distinct way of seeing the world. These perspectives shape how we interpret what surrounds us. Together, we create a varied portrait of our community. Although our work takes many forms, it shares a strong sense of connection. The collection has cohesion and harmony, much like the neighbourhood we call home.

🎨 Participating Artists:
Alan Maguire, Alex Grunwald, Andrew Wang, Angela Kuipers Lane, Jacquelyn Sloane Siklos, Jazmine Tara Miller, Joan McGivney, Joanne Cai, Kate Taylor, Leslie Rowland, Lisa Allshire, Lisa Litowitz, Lorena Dew, Lori Ryerson, Melissa Morrow, Rosalie Sharp, Sara Kazemi, Shailyn Bruining, Sheila Merer, and Victoria Broytman.
