My word was…

‘SURRENDER’

If you know me, you know that producing music is my only source of income and the only thing that I have put my trust in. Trusted in my own abilities, my own skills, my own talents. I’ve made a lot of money and progress as a result from that and have made a lot of questionable decisions to get to where I am today. Gods made it really clear to me to surrender all of that and stop depending on myself cos if I stay on this path it’s gonna cost me my soul. Not everyone has the same path and I’m not saying you can’t be a Christian and a music producer, I’m just saying that this is my path that Christ has set before me.

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

One thing I’ve learnt is that success and fruitfulness look the same but they are two very different things. I’ve had my fair share of success but when I reflect, I can’t really say that I’ve been fruitful in building the kingdom of God which should be every Christian’s ultimate mission.

‭‭John‬ ‭15‬:‭2‬
“He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.”

To be very honest I don’t know what I’m gonna do from here on out but all I know is the same God that sent his son to die on the cross for me is the same God that’s got my future in his hands. This is not a goodbye, it’s a new assignment. My first step is obedience

so here’s my obedience Jesus. by @ntgotbeats
