as Hispanic Heritage month is coming to an end, we listen to the stories of why diversity and inclusion is important to fostering healthy communities. as the North Texas Sweethearts, we continue to celebrate all cultures and backgrounds throughout the entirety of the year, and not just during it’s appreciation month. 🩷

this week, the North Texas Sweethearts had the honor of doing our fall philanthropy week supporting the National Brain Tumor society 🧠

from getting pied to sharing a final NBTS walk together, we will continue to share awareness of the National Brain Tumor Society. today, we walked in honor of those who are affected by brain tumors and we hope to find a solution for it in the future with the funds that we have donated to them this semester.

thank you all for participating in our philanthropy week! we hope to see you soon 💗

it’s #WhySweetheartWednesday and we are giving you reasons of why YOU should apply for recruitment! <3

next up is our Public Relations officer, Rosemary Souvannalath! and she says “When I transferred last fall as a Junior into North Texas, I was extremely anxious, especially being a commuter. It was a new place, in a new city, where I had no connections. But, when I walked into the first information meeting, I knew immediately I wanted to be apart of Sweethearts. It was the best decision I’ve made at my time here at university, so much so that I decided to take a leap and become an officer! I’ve met so many amazing girls and many who I call my best friends today. I’ve gone on out-of-state trips with these girls, volunteered for multiple organizations through NTS, and have experienced the best college experiences to be experienced. The North Texas Sweethearts have given me a home away from home and have given me a community to always rely on.”

recruitment applications through our facebook are still open! apply now using the link in our bio 🩷
