A little layer between you and the sun. We partnered with @solarlemonade to bring their packaging to life and translate their idea of sun protection into a visual language that could live beyond the bottle. At the heart of the brand is a simple thought: sunscreen shouldn’t feel like an extra step. It should feel like a companion. Something you put on, take with you and eventually forget you’re even wearing. We explored layers as both a functional and visual concept, the invisible layer of SPF on your skin translated into overlapping typography, textures, illustrations, photography and graphic elements across the identity. The result is a world where protection feels like part of the ritual of being outside: wet hair, bare feet, salty skin, afternoon swims and long days under the sun. Protection, with more attitude. Or, as Solar Lemonade puts it: Sexy Protection Factor. by @nubikini

I’ve been playing with an idea: what if every word I type became its own little block of color, stacking on top of the previous one until it turns into something interesting? I made this to explore how far you can push type before it starts becoming texture. - Llevo un rato jugando con la idea de: ¿qué pasaría si cada palabra que escribo se convierte en un bloque de color que se apila hasta crear una compo llena de capas? Hice esta herramienta para explorar hasta dónde se puede llevar la tipografía antes de que se convierta en textura. Desliza para verlas y, si quieres probar la herramienta, deja un comentario y te la envío. Herramienta creada con @brik.space En los controles vas a encontrar variables como espiral, círculo, etc. Usar una letra como forma para sistemas de marca… Ordenar también el texto en marco… O enloquecerte un poco y crear compos mas random Animar todas tus creaciones O hasta practicar lo que llaman la “concrete poetry” con un lente más colorido. Desde que descubrí el término, estoy obsesionada con lo que se puede crear. by @nubikini

Dos puntos. Tres puntos suspensivos… Punto y aparte. Punto seguido. Punto y coma. Punto de partida. Punto débil. Punto de encuentro. Punto de fuga. Punto de referencia. Punto ciego. Punto de quiebre. Punto de vista. Punto medio. Punto final. Puntos en la frente. Puntos sobre una i. Puntos en un mapa. Puntos de color. Sentir y punto. Un punto es una pausa, una coordenada, un comienzo o un final. Y como diría Yayoi Kusama: un punto solo es silencio. Un millón de puntos es el universo. Hice este tributo a Kusama interpretando sus frases más iconicas y creando un playground inspirado en su hermoso e inspirador trabajo. Espero que puedan usar la herramienta y compartir sus frases. How do you build an identity for a creative studio whose work is always evolving? At the core of Art Camp’s the identity is the circle, representing the beginning and the end of a creative process, and the idea that creation is never really finished. One thing leads to another, and the process starts again. We took the famous “wherever you go, there you are” as a leading motto for the whole project. From that idea, we built a flexible visual system designed to give Art Camp room to experiment and, most importantly, let their work take center stage. Over more than a year, the system evolved into a logo, animations, a new website and a custom generative tool, each one adding another layer to the identity. A year+ in the making.
