Lunchbox recipe 10

Chicken fingers👇

Chicken breast/thighs-300g
Boiled potato-1med
Bread slice-1
Onion small-1
Cheese slice-1
Egg-1
Corn flour-2tbsp
Salt,pepper and paprika (optional)

Blend all in chopper/food processor.

Use piping bags to make long shapes and quick freeze before coating.

Coating.Dip in order.flour—egg—breadcrumbs.

Thought it was just another trend…
But it turned out to be one of our core memories during my visit last week💯

Coming from someone who doesn’t like following trends blindly — and isn’t even a fan of Kach — I never imagined this simple Kach party would bring three generations to the same table with the same excitement 🥹

Somewhere between school runs, routines, and raising two little humans, quiet moments change.

Honestly, these days it feels like I’m always correcting him and he’s on a mission to test my patience. 8 year olds..I tell yaa🙄😅

So this weekend morning, I paused everything and chose him.
No sibling. No distractions. Just us!!

Turns out, we both needed it more than I realised.I gave him all my attention and we both spoke our hearts out.
When your child looks at you and says it was the most amazing day… your heart just swells.

Encouraging every mom to do this—pause and keep time for those little ones whos counting on you for everything.One-on-one time truly matters 🤍 by @nubla.adil

Lunchbox Recipe 9

Shawarma pocket

Mini qubz cut in half to use as pockets
Veggies of your choice finely cut,dont skip parsley leaves
Chicken marinated and cooked in chilli,turmeric,coriander and cumin powder.
Pickled cucumbers
Homemade mayonaise…I made eggless mayo

This is my 8 year olds favorite where as my 4 year old is not a big fan..so make it at your own risk!!

Everyone talks about how emotional it is when you send your firstborn to school—the tears, the letting go, the adjustment. And yes, it’s hard. But what no one really talks about is what it feels like with your second.
.
The little one who has been your shadow, your sidekick, your constant noise and chaos all day… the one who kept you busy while you went through the heartbreak of sending your firstborn to school but then ,suddenly, one day, they’re off to school too. The house feels quieter than ever. You find yourself looking around, wondering what to do with the stillness around,almost like you’re being asked to learn how to live life all over again!!

Its been tough and that’s why this moment, waiting for the bus and seeing that tiny face lit up ,running back to me, is my absolute favourite part of the day now. It’s a reminder that even though they’re growing up and slowly needing me a little less, I’ll always be here—waiting, watching, loving, and ready for the hug that makes the whole world feel right again. It’s not just a routine. It’s my healing. It’s a piece of my heart returning home ✨💛

O Allah, protect our children with Your protection. Grant them beneficial knowledge and righteous deeds. Make them a source of comfort for us parents and May they be able to use the knowledge they acquire in the best way possible beneficial for them both in this world and the Hereafter.

Lunchbox Recipe-8

Chicken coleslaw sandwich
Pears
Grapes,cherries
Chicken fingers with ketchup

Everytime we have broasted chicken,my kids end up eating bun and coleslaw more,So this mrng I made a basic coleslaw mix and added shredded chicken to it for their sandwich filling!!

Ingredients
Chopped carrot,cabbage and chicken (I overchopped it)
Sauce: Mayonaise,Greek yogurt, mustard(optional), salt, pepper, sugar…and any other flavorings you want!!
