SCENE & HEARD 🎤 We want to hear from you!

For 26 years, Nuçi’s Space has served the Athens music scene by listening to the people who make it special and those who support it. As our community has evolved, so have the needs of the people we serve and how we meet those needs.

Nuçi’s Space is launching our inaugural Scene & Heard Musicians’ Needs Survey to understand those needs and improve the programs and services we provide. Please complete the survey so we can learn from your responses. It takes about 10-20 minutes, depending on your answers.

The survey launches Monday, September 28th, and closes October 12th. Please participate during that window and complete it as soon as you can.

Please share with your fellow musicians and those who support the music scene in Athens, GA. As an added incentive, we will randomly select participants who complete the survey and choose to share their email address with us to receive gift cards from locally owned businesses. 💙

Our next clinic is Monday, 10/5 and we still have appointments available, call today to schedule.

Nuçi’s Space Free Health Clinics provide obstacle-free, judgment-free care for uninsured community members, including:

💙 Primary care
💙 Blood pressure & diabetes management
💙 Illness assessments
💙 Prescriptions for common medications
💙 Free lab work through Piedmont Athens Regional
💙 Interpreter available as needed

If you’re uninsured and struggling to access health care, this resource is here for you. Citizenship status is irrelevant and not collected. Call 706-227-1515 to reserve your spot at an upcoming clinic.

First up for the Nuçi’s Space silent auction: a Martin 0-10E Retro Jason Isbell acoustic-electric guitar.

This is a special one, and we expect it to get plenty of attention. Stop by Rocker Gallery this ShoalsFest weekend to see it in person and place your bid.

All proceeds from the silent auction will support Nuçi’s Space and the effort to bring more mental health resources to musicians in the Shoals community.

David Barbe has seen firsthand what Nuçi’s Space can mean when a musician needs real help. He shares the story of his friend Eric and how Nuçi’s Space helped save his life.

During ShoalsFest weekend, the Nuçi’s Space team will be at the festival and Rocker Gallery to share more about what they do and what that support could look like in The Shoals. Rocker Gallery will also host a silent auction benefiting Nuçi’s Shoals.

Judge Moore is part of the Jackson County Mental Health Task Force, a collaborative effort bringing community leaders together to increase mental health awareness, expand local resources, and reduce stigma across Jackson County.

We’re thrilled to welcome the Nuçi’s Space team to ShoalsFest this year to answer questions, listen to community members, and help us imagine what Nuçi’s Shoals can look like.

Rocker Gallery will also host a silent auction throughout the weekend benefiting Nuçi’s Shoals, with all proceeds supporting the effort to bring these resources to our community.
