2024 PLU Nationals

There so much I can say about this meet from it being the toughest competition yet to date, the hardest judges I’ve had to deal with to date- with one very questionable call but I’ll leave that alone. I want to give huge shutout to @ov_trap_selena for handling me @thevoodooviking_zeus all evening running back and forth especially a week ago she just had surgery 👏👏. My support group back home at the gym and my little one at home. Helped me through this tough prep especially 8ish weeks out when slightly herniated disk. Lastly the best coach @thevoodooviking_zeus keeping my ass in line and his shit talking throughout.

I finished 10 in 140kg class and 14th overall. I went 6/9
Squats: 744/777/804
Bench: 446/479- just missed 501 (in video above)
Deads: only 650 but 701 was there easily (video above) by @nuckols67

Having just come off an outstanding performance recently, he looks to get back on the platform with just a few weeks turn around. Finally after a 2 year break from competition, I returned with a fire lit under my ass. I’m happy with how I did but still not satisfied. I can’t thank @thevoodooviking_zeus for taking me on as a client with just a little over 9 weeks to prepare and come out and do what I did, and hitting the 308 weight class Squat state record! Huge shoutout to guys at @flexgymva for the handling and welcoming me like I’ve been part of you guys for years!
