@gateron.switch x Sillyworks Type R Tactile

Typing on these has been such an awesome experience. These are 100% tactile so they have no linear travel before you feel the bump. With a 3mm travel distance you get a pretty higher pitched, bright, and clacky sound. I love red so the color on these is a really nice plus too.

If you love a good tactile I recommend giving these a try. Picked mine up @unikeyboardsofficial and they’re still in stock for now.

I can’t say I have a very large collection yet so when a new keycap set comes in why not make a video 🤷.

I put @gmk_keycaps Awaken Neo Tokyo by @biipmk and @gateron.switch Type R on my @keychron Q3 and love the cyberpunk/neo aesthetic it’s got going on.

Really enjoying the creative process that pretty much came with this hobby. Hopefully my editing skills continue to improve 😅.

Wingtree Torrero by @wingtree_switch_official and @toro_keyboard

Wingtree hit a home run with these ones. The tactile feedback you get at the very start of the keystroke is superb. They’re high pitched and clacky, just the way I like em, and the light factory pre-lube still made them feel oh so smooth. The best part about them, the scratch. The scratchy feel and sound you get from these somewhat reminds me of when my dad would scratch on his turntable. Probably why I’m liking these so much, but I digress.

If you’ve made it this far, I appreciate you sticking it out while I ramble. I can’t recommend these switches enough and they’re still in stock on @divinikeys as of today so do with that what you will.

HMX Snow Crash type test. These have somewhat of a poppy but pretty moderate sound with a little bit of scratch because of the rail bottom-out. These sound and feel great.

Keebscape.co x HMX Snow Crash. New to me but not to everyone else. Been using these for a couple weeks now and I’ve grown to love them. I wasn’t sure how I felt about them at first because I don’t really use linears very much. I’m so glad I gave them a shot. Hands down the best linears I’ve used so far.

KEEBSCAPE.CO X HMX Snow Crash. Supposed to be a fun unboxing but it didn’t come out the way I envisioned it. Tried some more cinematic and dynamic content with this one. Let’s just say I learned a lot of lessons here. Few big ones:

Make sure your aspect ratio is right before you shoot 😅

Make sure your focus is locked onto your subject if you’re doing a moving shot

Don’t block your light source

I couldn’t be bothered to reshoot everything so I’ll just take it and do better next time 🤷. Hope you all got a good laugh out of this and thanks for stopping by!
