Herzliche Einladung zur Ausstellung

Hörst du den Steinen beim Fallen zu?
Joshua Bielesch
Schenk Art Space
Halmgasse 1 / Ecke Schüttelstraße, 1020 Wien

17. - 30. April 2026
Eröffnung 16. April 2026, 18 Uhr

The Possibility of Renewal

A group exhibition hosted by Nozic Gallery, Nicosia, Cyprus.

Opening Friday, 16 October 2026, from 18 to 22h.
Nozic Gallery, Nicosia.

What remains when something disappears?

Fragments, altered landscapes, traces of memory, images and materials carry what has been lost and, within them, the possibility of becoming something else.

The Possibility of Renewal brings together seven artistic positions that linger in the space between disappearance and transformation, working across sculpture, painting, and photographic approaches. The works find their common ground in the productive potential that can emerge from spaces of political, sociopolitical, and environmental conflict.

Taking Cyprus as a point of departure, the exhibition considers persistence not as a return to what was, but as a way of remaining in relation to it. It asks how what remains might become a site of possibility and how fragments, traces, and absences can hold the potential for transformation.
