Changing gears from art to cold comfort food. This is my first attempt at making French Onion soup from scratch. Caramelizing the onions was a new experience. But in the end it worked. Mother and nephew taste tested and approved.

Added a translucent blue glaze layer. Probably one more, then on to the greens. I'm so far happy with the optical effect of the glaze layer. by @nulmer57

Worked more on these blue ones. One is commission the other just for me. Cold wax and oil paint on wood panel. The commission is blues within blues, scrafitto, knife work. The other is a sort of Evil Eye Totem. by @nulmer57

Under painting. These are I hope, the highlights and dark lights. Once I begin adding greens. The reds and pinks will be darkest greens, the yellow and white should be brighter greens.

Intent is to paint a Heart Chakra that looks like a gemstone.

Paint is drying slower in the cooler temps now, I'm wanting to be finished by next Tuesday. Oils on wood circular panel. Gesso is milk based paint with marble dust. by @nulmer57
