POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

24 OCT → 7 NOV | CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT
Tussen beide dagen blijven we verbonden. Je kunt coaching, creative guidance, styling en uitwisseling met andere makers verwachten. We bouwen verder op wat is ontstaan, met ruimte om ook je eigen creative practice te verdiepen.

7 NOVEMBER | OUTER WORLD
We brengen onze werelden samen in een live Performance en openen het proces voor publiek.

Aansluitend creëren we ruimte voor gesprekken, nieuwe connecties en een gezamenlijke afsluiting.

PARTICIPATION IS FREE

‘BUAYA’ FROM DEEP WITHIN

Shame, spite, regret, anger. When we refuse to face these things within ourselves, they can consume us. But what happens when we choose to move with them instead?

BUAYA is the genesis piece of NUMANE. And we invite you to take part in the journey we’re embarking on.

This living performance was birthed from the mind of @jeftanate , co-created with @_darsay and @desleystripes .

PHASE 1 : THE FOUNDATION

Three brothers, building and cultivating a solid ground for those who align with the vision to evolve with us.

We believe there is something powerful in creating from your own essence, while moving forward together. In the meeting of different people, disciplines and perspectives, there is still so much potential waiting to unfold.

For us, this is about reconnecting with nature, with each other, and with something larger than the individual.

NUMANE is a growing collective of creatives exploring this through movement, design, sound, performance and thought.

This is the beginning of a journey. From here we seek to invite other creatives to join us to build from these values, through alignment, research and mutual growth.

Blesssss

May 16 our first performance 'Buaya' at Museum Arnhem.

We invite y'all to this experience, a deep dive into the self, the shadow, an innate force that is hidden yet moving deep inside.

With a Museum Arnhem Ticket you can enter the world of NUMANE for the first time.

The Museum is opened from 11:00 - 17:00

There will be 3 performances

11:30-12:00
13:30-14:00
15:30-16:00

For this performance we took an experimental approach to create an art installation, where the foundation was forged through movement by @jeftanate and the work is shaped by @_darsay. In this way we create through feeling, embodiment and intention.

Performance led by movement artist: @jeftanate
Art installation & Sound design by: @_darsay
Graphics and Garments by: @desleystripes
Videography by: @thiemovandam & Tisja Sapulete

We hope to share this step of the journey with you on the 16th

Born from shared essence, Numane is a living process, a new foundation, a growing circle of creators, collectively exploring the inner world and outer reality.

We merge our disciplines: movement (@jeftanate ), art, audiovisual design, spoken word(@_darsay )and garment design (@desleystripes @needless.network ), bringing it together in experimental performances.

It all started with reflecting on where we come from, stories from deep in the jungle across the oceans. Conversations about life, roots, ancestors and our place in this world.

Numane is now a story of kinship, carried by three men who each had their own journey, and share roots in Maluku. Yet the story of Numane reaches beyond our roots, it explores an essence that we all share, Before culture and identity, we are human.

A solid ground where we aim to empower eachother to create from the authentic seed that is within all of us.

We harmonize with nature, explore eachothers disciplines and bring it together in performance, art and through product.

The coming months we will initiate our first steps into this new world.

Where we invite other creatives to join us on this endeavour.

A journey of intention. Where we together build a new form of expression, an ecosystem of creativity that is fluid yet grounded, diverse yet connected, intuitively, yet deeply intentional.

Stay fuckin tuned, you don't wanna miss this. by @numane__
