- Rafael Porfirio Rodriguez. 05.22.1918 🤍 My sweet Angel i can’t help but to feel so empty without you on this precious earth. I catch myself in disbelief knowing we will never share another hug or kiss again or FaceTime call or another yankee game in the living room or the smell of coffee at 5 am that let me know you were already up. I feel a sense of peace knowing you lived your life! Your flowers were always given, you felt the love. For Bella vista, DR to honor you at one of the baseball games they held in your hometown meant so much to us and you. You were respected everywhere you went, everyday you wore a suit or dress pants and a shirt. I’ve never seen you wear a pair or jeans or sweats a day in my life, you always told me how important it was for you to always look presentable, even if it was to sit in the living room lol. We used to talk about how you witnessed so much history in DR & how so much has changed. I’m glad you shared how you met great grandma and fell in love, my fav. Story of all time. You two are finally reunited in Heaven. 🤍 Thank you papa, thank you for loving us, giving us headaches and laughs. You let no one tell you what to do lol even as you got older my stubborn OG. Thank you for raising us with so much love. I’m happy i got to show you how much i loved you, I’ll never forget how i planned your 104th birthday celebration. I loved you loud and proud & what an honor it is that you gifted me your “Rafael ring” i will hold it close to me forever. Thank you God, you allowed him to live 107 beautiful years. You are embedded in my heart forever. Watch over us. “And i will love you, till eternity” 🤍🕊️ - Leidy. by @nunezzzx
