You DON'T need wings to fly. You need a pole. ;)

Unlocked one of my long pending goals - the Phoenix spin. It's so consistent now, I love it 💃 Can't even begin to describe how many fails I've had so I'd just stopped training it for two years and gave my body the time it needed to be ready for it. And nowww it just feels like flyinggggg ❤️👐 These dynamic spins on a static/stationary pole give me such a high ❤️ Of course i have to clean it up, do it with straight legs, and train my other side (🙈) - but all that for later - for now, I'm just gonna celebrate this win 🥂
Also, for polers-- Do not be disheartened if you think you 'should' be able to do a move but can't. Pole progress isn't always linear - on some days, you'll land a super tough move and on others, a simpler one may seem so difficult. Just enjoy and learn from the process. Just because you didn't get a move or trick or routine doesn't mean you haven't put in the work. So just be thankful to be able to move and do what you love. ❤️ Ok, bye.

Turning off gravity in 3,2,1...
My reason to smile! My first attempt at a double clock and I honestly cannot believe it happened 💃 The second lift blew my mind lol. 🤯 Can't wait to be cleaning this up and progressing 🙏
I remember looking at polers do this and would just wonder "How?" . The answer is training, conditioning and patience. I've learnt that having a goal is great but not rushing towards it is even greater coz it just works and comes to you at the right time, when your body is ready to take that load, when your body has put in the work and prepped for the load. And this applies across all fields of fitness be it weight training, calisthenics, yoga, flexibility training, etc. 🙌

I love how brown my skin looks 😍 This one's from May and I still had a gorgeous tan from Madagascar. I don't remember who I saw these shapes on, if anyone knows please tell me so I can tag them ♥️

POV: You sign up for something completely out of your comfort zone… and discover muscles you didn’t even know existed. 😂💪🏻

Tried pole dancing this weekend with at @thepoleschoolindia with none other than the best @nupurpoleart via @trove_experiences , and let me tell you — it’s SO much harder than it looks! 🫠

The strength, the grip, the coordination, the confidence… everything was being tested. And somewhere between trying not to fall and trying to look graceful, I realised how much there is to learn when you try something new. 😂❤️

As someone who loves fitness, I’m always looking for new ways to challenge my body. And this was definitely a different kind of challenge!

Because fitness isn’t just about lifting weights, hitting PRs, or running faster. Sometimes, it’s about being a beginner again, feeling a little awkward, and having fun while learning something new. ✨

Have you ever tried pole dancing? Or is it on your bucket list? 👀👇🏻
