The video tell it ALL! ☕️♥️🤘🏽🎉 Rain tried it, but y’all still showed up and showed OUT for @greatdaylatte ‘s 2-Year Anniversary Block Party! These moments reminds me how much love fills this little corner we hold of Downtown Mobile. From the smiles to the poetry cypher to the Louisiana crews turning us up, it was a time! 😁

A special thank you to our community sponsors, @upliftmobile , for helping us capture the celebration, and videographer @kxngz_optix for catching the joy, the vibez, and the LOVE. 📸

Thank you to @konquer_life , owner of @_kingsgroominglounge, for donating his tent for us to use. That greatly helped us keep things rolling! To my #GreatDayLatte team, THANK YOU for all the work that went into today! @djhot_rod turned things UP and OUT per usual! 🎶 And to my family @amj60 & @komekoknight , thank y’all for always pulling up with the photo booth and helping us.

Two years of coffee, culture, and community, and so much more love to share. Thank y’all for being part of the GDL family! 🤎

APPROVED! 🎉 On Tuesday, September 1st, @greatdaylatte officially received City Council approval for our on/off-premise BEER + WINE license! 🍷🍺 And naturally we had to celebrate the only way that made sense. ESPRESSO MARTINI-INSPIRED SIPS, ANYONE?! 🍸☕️

Before y’all see this video and start saying, “WAIT… GDL GOT LIQUOR NOW?!” NO MA’AM. NO SIR. 😂 We are licensed for BEER + WINE ONLY…NO liquor or spirits will be served.

But y’all know us, we were NOT about to just pour a glass of wine and call it a day. We’ll be curating crafted drinks using WINE-BASED ingredients, including our own take on espresso martini-inspired drinks, coffee + wine creations and other specialty sips, all while staying within our beer & wine license. 😉

OF COURSE we’re going to put the Great Day Latte spin on it! And NO, we are NOT turning into a bar either. GDL is still the coffee shop you know and love, we’re simply expanding the experience and giving you a few more reasons to pull up, sit down and stay awhile. Coffee. Community. Culture. Connection, and now maybe a little wine too.🍷🤏🏽

Cheers to growth, evolution and another BIG milestone for GDL! 🥂 COMING SOON, don’t worry the roll out will be special hold tight.
