Our very first official @newgymnasium event took place on July 3rd. Seeing our dream come to life, even for just one evening, was incredibly special for us. We’ve received so many happy dm’s and texts after, thanks so much!About a year and a half ago, the four of us started talking about a shared dream: creating a place in Amsterdam where movement, wellness, work, food, and community all come together: A well-designed space where you can spend your day, enjoy high-end facilities, attend events and meet inspiring people.You’re probably thinking: But when!? And where!? Turns out: Building something like this doesn’t happen overnight. But we’re getting closer every week... We’re currently raising the final funds and actively securing the right location in the centre of Amsterdam.Until then, we’re bringing New Gymnasium to life through a series of events. Over the coming months, we’ll host one event for each of our five pillars: Movement, Wellness, Work, Food and Community.‘Movement’ is already in the making. I think we set a record here... what a party!shout out to the fantastic women of @tabletopamsterdam who made the 10/10 yummiest cake, almost a meter wide (think big!)the coolest collaboration with @vasto_gallery and @makingspacepregnant, who brought the inflatable ‘Resting Field’ to @studio3000amsterdam (what did we think of that!?)tunes by @passiondeez, @emanuellevos and the one and only @timhoeben huge thanks to @budweiser for the cold beersbut most of all: thanks to everyone who showed up and for ALL THE SMILES.
