I say this as one of you. I’m a mom of two little boys, I run a company, and I spent years as an IVF nurse watching women try to do everything perfectly. The women who felt best weren’t doing the most. They did a few things well and stopped tormenting themselves about the rest.

So here’s what I actually recommend:

Eat protein at breakfast. It changes the whole day.

Lift something heavy twice a week. Twenty minutes is enough.

Ask for your ferritin, vitamin D and thyroid, and look at the numbers yourself. I can’t tell you how many exhausted women I’ve met whose thyroid levels were off.

Guard your sleep. It’s the least glamorous fix and the one that works.

Take fewer supplements, chosen on purpose. A short list matched to your stage of life and your labs beats a shelf full of bottles you bought because you thought they looked and sounded good.

You don’t need a new full-time job called “wellness.” You need a routine that takes care of you even on the days you can’t.

What’s the one thing that’s actually helped you? Tell me below 👇

All summer long, my oldest kept asking me, “Mom, are you strong?” And every single time I told him yes, because moms are the strongest humans.

I mean it - and not just because I can still toss them onto the bed. We grow a whole human inside our bodies, birth them into the world, produce their food, and then we keep going. We raise these little people day after day while carrying everything else we hold quietly: the worry, the mental load, the grief or the waiting or the hard seasons that got us here in the first place. Whatever that looks like for you, you carry it, and you still show up.

I hope he always remembers that strong doesn’t only mean lifting him up. It means everything it took to get him here, and everything it takes to keep going. 💛 by @nursesuziedevine

Your ferritin was “normal,” but might not have been.

Last week the American Society of Hematology released new guidelines for diagnosing iron deficiency, and the cutoffs just went up across the board.

The new thresholds:
30 ng/mL or lower for adults, including anyone menstruating or pregnant
50 ng/mL or lower if you have heavy periods, or you’re pregnant with anemia
Under 100 ng/mL if you have an inflammatory condition

Many lab ranges have flagged ferritin as low only in the teens, which means a lot of women were told their iron was fine when their stores were running on empty. Up to 70% of cases in high-risk groups are missed.

If you’ve been exhausted, foggy, dizzy, short of breath, or losing hair, and someone told you your labs looked normal, pull up your last ferritin number and look again. Then take it to your doctor.

The ASH says treatment guidelines are coming in 2027.

Save this so you have the numbers when you need them. by @nursesuziedevine

Perimenopause can last close to a decade, and for generations, most women received little support for managing the symptoms.

So, 10 years ago, we developed our women’s complete multi for perimenopause symptom support. It includes Black Cohash, Ashwagandha, Curcumin and more for cortisol and hot flash support. We also always recommend a high dose omega fat for brain health, vision and more, plus a synbiotic with probiotics (good bacteria) to support your gut system. Did you know your gut metabolizes your hormones?

Just three supplements worth having in place through the years when your body is navigating hormone loss.

At Binto, we also understand that not every woman needs the same supplement support, which is exactly the point. Take the quiz and we’ll match you to your perimenopause supplement support system.

Link in bio, or comment RENEW and we’ll send it straight to you.

I just got off a consult with a woman who had a miscarriage.

We took the time she needed. Nobody was watching a clock. She got to ask the questions she’d been carrying around, including the ones she hasn’t been able to ask, and she got real answers from someone who has sat with a lot of women in exactly that place.

That should be ordinary. It isn’t.

Miscarriage is one of the most common things that happens in reproductive health, and one of the most poorly supported. Most women get a scan, a word, and a follow-up scheduled weeks out. Then they go home and google at 2am. And a lot of what’s waiting for them online is either frightening or trying to sell them something.

What I keep hearing is that women don’t just want information. They want somewhere to say it out loud without being rushed, and without feeling like they’re being worked.

That’s what these consults are for - time with a clinician who will actually listen to you.

If you’re in it right now, I’m so sorry. And it is not your fault, no matter how many times you replay the weeks before. 🤍

Right out of nursing school I worked on a postpartum unit.

Every mother got the same piece of paper before discharge. Ten questions. Circle the number that best describes how you’ve felt in the past seven days. We collected it, we charted it, we sent her home.

That was years ago. That same form is still what most women get today.

Here’s the problem - the form was never really the point. It’s the box we check so we can say we asked. We hand it to her on day two, before most of what we worry about even begins, and then we send her home for six weeks with nobody checking on her at all.

Her baby gets six appointments in the first year. She gets one.

That is not a screening tool problem. That is what it looks like when a system does not take women’s mental health seriously. We have known for decades that the postpartum period is one of the highest-risk windows in a woman’s entire life, and we still built the care around the baby and left her to figure it out.

Postpartum psychosis is part of what gets missed. It affects 1 to 2 in every 1,000 births, comes on fast in the first weeks, and it’s a psychiatric emergency, not a rough patch. And the part that matters most: a woman in it often does not know she is sick. She cannot self-report her way out of it. Which means the people around her have to know what they’re looking at, and almost nobody teaches them.

The Lindsay Clancy case should be a wake up call for all of us. Not because it’s rare and horrifying, but because of everything it exposed about how little has changed.

If you are pregnant or postpartum, or you love someone who is, save these:
Postpartum Support International — 1-800-944-4773, call or text
National Maternal Mental Health Hotline — 1-833-TLC-MAMA, 24/7
Suicide & Crisis Lifeline — call or text 988

And if you have a history of bipolar disorder, or a family history of postpartum psychosis, tell your OB before you deliver. It’s the single highest risk factor and it’s the conversation most likely to get skipped.

Share this with a partner, a mother, a friend. Especially a partner.

AOC opened up about the process of freezing her eggs and the internet has a lot of opinions. I am going to correct the clinical stuff, because I spent seven years watching women make this decision with almost no information.

“It’s pointless at 36” — no. Age matters, 36 isn’t 32, but pointless is wrong and that framing makes women do nothing at all.

“It doesn’t guarantee a baby” — true. Frozen eggs aren’t insurance. Some don’t survive the thaw, some don’t fertilize, some never become embryos.

What I’d actually ask before you book anything:
· What’s your AMH and antral follicle count? Those predict yield better than your age does.
 · What is this clinic’s live birth rate per thawed egg? Not fertilization rate. Not retrieval numbers.
 · What does storage cost per year, and for how long?
 · What’s the all-in cost including medications, which are often quoted separately?

One of the most important things talks about is that there isn’t much information out there and it feels daunting. That’s true, and we need to make fertility education accessible to everyone from a young age.

Ask me anything below. I’ll answer all of them. 🤍

I always had a plan with dates on it. Married by this age, first baby by 30, second one not long after. I had it down to the season. But, none of it happened when I said it would.

The hardest part of infertility isn’t any single month. It’s what it does to time. Every cycle becomes a verdict. You stopped living in the present because the present just feels like a waiting room for the month that is finally going to work. I’m a nurse, so I’m very good at it; more tracking, more research, more optimizing. It doesn’t always help.
What helps is giving up the timeline. Not giving up on wanting it, but giving up on controlling when.

And finally, for me, two small boys arrived who do not care about next quarter. You can’t schedule tiny humans. They keep me exactly here, which turns out to be the only place I ever actually wanted to be - present.

I don’t think I’d trade the woman who came out the other side of that. She’s the one who came out stronger. She’s the one my boys get. She wouldn’t exist if the plan had worked out just as I planned.

If you’re in the waiting part right now, I feel for you. There’s another side, I promise. 🤍

The longer we work in women’s health, the more we believe these 10 things.
Some are clinical. Some are just...true.

Perimenopause is the stage women get the least information about and the most dismissal.

Hot flashes. Brain fog. Sleep that stopped working. Weight that moved without you changing anything. And an appointment where you’re told it’s just your age.
Common, yes. Normal, no. Those are two different words.

Here’s what’s actually in the kit, and why:
🌿 Women’s Complete Multi — D3, B12, magnesium, zinc, selenium, plus black cohosh and ashwagandha. Estrogen decline accelerates bone loss and shifts how you absorb and metabolize a lot of things, so the foundation matters more now, not less.
🌿 Algae DHA — estrogen is protective for your heart and your brain. As it declines, omega-3s do more of that work. Algae-derived, so no fish oil aftertaste.
🌿 Women’s Synbiotic — 25 billion CFU, 13 strains, plus prebiotic fiber. Your estrobolome, the gut bacteria that help metabolize estrogen, shifts during this transition. Almost no menopause protocol addresses it. This one does.

Three supplements, one packet, formulated with OB/GYNs who treat menopause every day. Works alongside HRT, and alongside a GLP-1.

This isn’t about slowing anything down or getting anything back. It’s a protocol for the version of you that’s arriving.

Comment RELIEF and we’ll link you to our kit. by @nursesuziedevine

Am I right? 🫠

Somewhere along the way millennial women got handed a list where nothing comes off. Be excellent at work. Be fully present with your kids. Text your friends back. Be a good partner. Call your parents, and increasingly, take care of them. Cook the real dinner. Move your body. Sleep.

Every one of those is reasonable on its own. Together they’re a job nobody can hold.

And the trap is that they’re all things we genuinely want. So when we can’t do all of them at once it doesn’t feel like an impossible list. It feels like a personal failing.

It isn’t. The list is the problem.

Which one are you dropping this week? I’ll go first, it’s the friends. I love them and I have not replied to a single one. I know they’ll still be there :) by @nursesuziedevine
