Thankful to God for year 36!🙏🏾🎈

35 was HARD even up until the last week. So my prayer to God in this new year was Peace✨

January 17th, we said our final good-byes to my mom💜🤍 Thank you God for my husband and my village because they honestly carried me through that day. Still surreal. Thank you everyone for your kind messages, check-ins and continued prayers!🙏🏾🥹 by @nursethamar_

2025 was without a doubt the toughest year I have ever gone through. My mom’s cancer diagnosis came in February (2 months postpartum) and was already Stage 4. Then October began the countless hospital admissions that lasted weeks at a time. Trying to create a nice holiday season for your children while grieving the fact that your mom will soon not be around was so hard.

Nothing truly prepares you for a loss of a parent and no words can really describe the feeling. Even through the ups and downs, I owe credit to her for the woman I am today.

I’m overwhelmed already with the amount of love that I have received from family and friends. Thank you to the ones who showed up and brought us food, the calls and text messages. Thank you to those who constantly checked on me or even my mom when she was in the hospital. I love you all deeply more than you all could ever imagine.

Happy birthday to the youngest in charge, Princess Noelle!! The only one I intentionally had an unmedicated birth with and would do it all over again!! When I found out Levi was a boy, I was happy to be a boy mom but baby girl God knew I NEEDED you!! You’re already healing so much in me that I thought I was over. Happy 5 year wedding anniversary to my best friend! We’ve been together almost 10 years so feels like forever! This has been the hardest year of my life and like I said on our wedding day you have always been the calm to my storm and that still holds true today. I hope to always be that to you as well. Marrying you was the best and easiest decision I ever made. I pray God blesses us with many more years together. I love you 🖤♾️

We couldn’t take a trip like we always said we would because life but we’ll still celebrate this weekend🤞🏾😌
