This cozy, nostalgic bowl of spaghetti o’s was lovingly made from scratch by @runwithtweezers for a comfort food project we shot earlier this year. These simple, textural images don’t always get as much attention from the algorithm as the big complex scenes do, but they’re probably my favorite to create. When work was a little slow last month, I did a few test shoots to round out my CPG portfolio. This was one of those projects. I wanted to work on product scenes that didn’t feel too generic, but weren’t overly complicated and contrived. A mix of product and lifestyle that lives in the same world as my food work. Love doing these simple projects alone in my studio, it’s my zen. taken in Nutmeg Imageworks by @nutmeg.imageworks

We’ve always done product and CPG work, but lately I’ve had the urge to dive in and create a unique product portfolio. I’ve done a few test shoots - like this gorgeously designed tea packaging 🍑 - to round out the gallery & make sure it really felt like our work. Hero CPG shots on solid colors are great, but a lovely product deserves a thoughtful scene to live in. Portfolio is up on the site - link in bio ✨📸 A box of Rishi Tea sitting on a sunny counter with fresh cut peaches against a warm plaster wall taken in Nutmeg Imageworks by @nutmeg.imageworks

Between the ice cream scenes, @that513gal and I worked on this summer salad with lovely fresh, seasonal produce. Bacteria free & stunning!

I’ve really been craving these textural, natural environments for my scenes lately. Still filled with joy and color, but more life. More feeling. If we’re connected on LinkedIn you may have read my recent existential feelings on how I describe my work, but I digress.

Thank you @that513gal for creating and sourcing these gorgeous foods and curating the prettiest salad 💚

I got quite a few comments and messages about the weird fruit in our salad image, it’s a bitter melon! I’m also obsessed, even gave her a beauty shot (second image). Just an appreciation post for all the gorgeous produce sourced by @that513gal by @nutmeg.imageworks

Summer Sweets
✨🍑 a sunny little personal project 🧡🍦

Every click of the shutter just felt right on this shoot. The food was gorgeous, our mother & daughter talent were genuine and lovely, the warm lighting I had in my head came together perfectly, and we couldn’t get a bad shot! It was hard to narrow down, so I still have even more to share!
