Knitting isn’t just a winter hobby.
Summer knitting has its own world: tops, skirts, dresses made from lightweight yarn that’s actually a pleasure to work with in warm months.
These are the tops sitting in my wishlist right now. Every single one is from a small independent designer I keep coming back to. These tops (if materials are right) will delight you by their simplicity, diversity and easiness in making.

Wide-leg corduroy trousers for my son, no pattern needed. Just traced his favourite pair and went from there. A couple of hours, a little winging,and it’s one of my and his favourite makes.

There is always a first time for the business professional dress code. Another challenge was finding something warm, since it's cold in Washington, DC. Making your own classy dress took more time than buying from a store, but the result paid off without a doubt. Thank you @gusyonka for the incredible wool fabric present 😍

Entering 2026 with a new bag I made 🤩 I love everything about it: the design, the colours, it fits all I need 👌 Aaand, it's very easy to do. I used a pattern I found on YouTube and my favourite @mattiyarns, which makes the bag quite strong and flexible. This post is probably no surprise 😄 I went thrifting and came home with three beautiful fabrics — corduroy, denim, and a lightweight raincoat material. The kids will definitely get the first goodies; I’m thinking wide-leg pants and a cute skirt

And I’m not leaving myself out either 😉 I’ve been thinking of a cargo skirt for ages, and now I finally have the perfect fabric to make it happen! Feeling inspired already ✂️✨
