I pray this helps someone and steers people more toward doing PD home dialysis than in center hemodialysis (most common). It is way less harsh on your body, allows more freedom and provides you with a better quality of life than any other form. I almost chose the other form but was deterred from that option because I watched how harsh it was on my father and brother prior to their passing. I truly believe if they had chose this form they would still be here! 🙏🏾💜

As promised I am opening up more about my battle with lupus and life on dialysis! Here is a glimpse into my nightly routine. Want to share my experience in hope to save someone else’s life by educating them on this dialysis option, that is a lot easier on the body and provides the best quality of life compared to other forms. When the dialysis options were first presented to me I had no real life example of what this treatment type looked like. Please share if you know anyone facing or currently on dialysis! Comment any questions below 🙏🏾💚💯

I thank God that he has given me the strength to endure all the challenges I’ve faced in life. I know for a fact I don’t look like what Ive been through and I handle some of the heaviest burdens like a champ!! I’m convinced there is absolutely NOTHING I can’t overcome!

Huge thank you to @k.made.it for allowing me the opportunity to be one of her models/performers! This was the first time a designer allowed me to walk barefoot and she didn’t give me any directions other than “You just get out there and do yo thang 👏🏾😜”….. Say less 😂😌

Also I’m so proud of @imquez_ for how he has curated & grown the @18thandvineartsfest over these last few years! It’s only going to get bigger & better 🙌🏾🤩

SN: This was the day after my procedure and my body felt amazing. I wasn’t over pushing myself or anything! I always knew I LOVED to dance but that night I realized something for the first time “I LIVE to dance” because when I’m on that stage my illness doesn’t exist 🙏🏾🥹💯

GOD IS SO GOOD!!!!!!!!!! IYKYK 👏🏾💯

Just a few weeks ago I had to be rushed to the hospital due to complications with my dialysis treatment and my ongoing battle with Lupus. This time when I got out I wasn’t in a good place mentally. They informed me about a mass they found on my kidney and that was a lot to process…. I am currently following up to get it tested. After crying my heart out because baddies have breakdowns too 💁🏾‍♀️…. I realized God only messes with my health when he wants my attention 🙏🏾

I would be lying if I said I wasn’t slacking on giving God his time 😔… I started doing my morning prayer and praise & worship sessions again mixed with doing more stretching and walking. I started feeling better and remembering that I’m a gangsta 💁🏾‍♀️💅🏾

Fast forward to last night 🥹✨
3 days ago I found out I would have the chance to be apart of The @therandbtour as @usher cast thanks to @getbacklit . I wouldn’t even allow myself to get excited because I had to get there to know it was real! Once we made it in I could have cried my amazingly beat @_slaybyajay face off! Not only was I able to dance on stage with Usher but I was also selected to be one of the girls in his VIP section! 😩😍

The favor is UNMATCHED! God gave me so many confirmations that this ain’t even the tip of the iceberg for me! I was never meant to be normal but GREAT!!!! 🤩 In order to be great you have to have a great story! 🙌🏾

SN: Shoutout to my new friend @reneeeaustin that took this video for me because my phone was dead! I was dancing the entire performance on a hurt hip and still had a BALL! Forget that pain lbs… This was after we had already done our job and then they surprised us with @marioworldwide 😍😍😍 BIG VIRGO ENERGY ♍️😜

The category is FEARLESS‼️👏🏾😍

I have spent so much time hating my body after getting my catheter surgically input in my stomach. I always wondered would anyone ever see me as sexy again and the answer is YES‼️😜

It has taken me YEARS to get to this point of self love but I made it‼️ THIS IS ME‼️ 😍🔥

I want to show other woman that may be battling kidney disease, doing dialysis, or that have medical devices on their body that you can still be beautiful and sexy!!!! 🫶🏾🥹
