Every Nation. Every Tribe. Every Tongue.

Next week for fall break, we’re sending students to the Dominican Republic, Arlington, Texas, and New Orleans, Louisiana to advance the kingdom and spread the good news of Jesus.

At our missions sendoff last night, we got to pray and worship in Spanish over the people we’ll soon get to serve on mission. A reminder that the Gospel has no language barrier and the same God we worship here is already moving in Texas, Louisiana, and the Dominican.

We’re excited to serve with @comoarboles , @missionarlington , and @missionlab next week!!!

NV Worship’s first ever Songwriters’ Open Mic Night was a success- thank you to each of y’all that came out! We had five writers share their original music in two different writers’ rounds, and our church family showed up to support and cheer them on in the best way! What a sweet night. We’re hosting our first *ever* New Vision Worship Songwriting Open Mic Night on Friday, and we want YOU to come out to listen! We asked our worship team to sing some of their own music, and they’re delivering! Join us to listen to original music by some of our worship team, all done songwriters’ round style. The genres vary (anywhere from Christian to country to pop and everything in between!), but don’t worry- all the music will be top notch! We’ll have great music, great hangs, and a great time, so bring your friends + come join us! Anyone is welcome to attend! by @nvworship

Meet Andrew, our Buchanan Weekend Worship Leader! He’s been on staff with us for 5 years (+ 2 years for a spell before that!), but has been serving with us in some capacity since 2010. Andrew sings + plays guitar, but also dabbles with the saxophone and keys. He loves getting to have a small part in seeing our team members grow in their gifts and seeing the Holy Spirit move while we sing as a congregation, and hearing our people’s outward response in worship, including moments like the Christmas Candlelight Service at Buchanan in 2025. One of his favorite memories of being a part of NV Worship was when the power went out one Sunday during rehearsal at Battlefield. After getting enough power to run a small PA, the service was led acoustic with no lights or screens, and that moment was overpowered by the congregation singing, which he said was such a nice moment.

His favorite worship song is “Gratitude” by Brandon Lake. He’s married to his wife, Maddy, and they have four awesome kids, ages 19 (junior at Belmont majoring in film), 8 (an aspiring drummer), 7 (an aspiring artist), and 4 (who brings all the chaos!). He is the Operations Manager at a Video Production Company, and he’s had plenty of super cool experiences with fun clients. He’s won a handful of awards for documentaries he’s worked on and has also been nominated for multiple Emmys. He is hoping to win one in the near future, and also hopes to avoid approaching Susan Lucci territory. by @nvworship

Meet Mari, our Next Gen Worship Leader! He’s been with our team serving since Summer 2023 and sings, as well as plays acoustic guitar, bass, and keys. He loves to learn more about our volunteers, making new friends, and creating moments with the team. His favorite memory serving would be the first time we did the song “Son of Suffering” in our college ministry. He said it was a very holy moment pursuing God! His favorite worship song at the moment is “Takeover” by Elevation Rhythm. A couple of fun facts about him is that he hates running, yet got 3rd place in his bracket in his last 5k. He believes that blue raspberry is the best flavor of any juice, candy, or flavor, and if he didn’t lead worship, he said he’d probably be trying to become a manager at H&M.
