Portland Stamp Co is reinvigorating the lost tradition of limited edition, commemorative poster stamps.

We’re so excited to partner with Portland Stamp Co for custom decorative stamp sheets available in the fest’s merch lineup! These are decorative, lick-and-sick stamps meant to be paired with your paid postage stamp honoring the ephemera’s historical usage.

Welcome, @tardigrade_makery ⭐️

Timothy Vander Ploeg (Tardigrade Makery) is a potter based in Vancouver, WA. He believes art and daily use items should keep you both grounded and whimsical (much like the tardigrade). In his daily use vessels, he focuses on clean lines and a simple and calming colour palette. As a calligrapher, he has a love of making ceramic dip pens to inspire you to put ink to paper. He also adds fun touches to vintage slip cast molds that are designed to nurture nostalgia with some added bliss. Tim is also hard of hearing and ASL friendly.

✏️ Meet Timothy at Northwest Stationery Fest on Saturday, November 7!

Welcome, @squeezeboxpress ⭐️

✏️ Meet Emma at Northwest Stationery Fest on Saturday, November 7!

Welcome, @oliviamdeyoung ⭐️

I make colorful, playful, and whimsical risograph prints, cards, stickers, magnets and buttons with a perfectly imperfect quality. Most of my work is inspired by fish (I really love rainbow trout), and I love combining unexpected things into art that makes people happy. My goal is to make work that feels authentic to me while still accessible and joyful for others.

✏️ Meet Olivia at Northwest Stationery Fest on Sunday, November 8!

Welcome, @imperfectbooking ⭐️

I started making books to repair an old and tattered favorite of my wife’s. I love both the creativity and the technical skill needed to build a new book. I’m truly drawn to the look and feel of a handmade made one of a kind book with character and imperfections.

✏️ Meet Bryant at Northwest Stationery Fest on Sunday, November 8!

That’s the last of this year’s vendors!

✏️ The Alchemy of Ink with @mollyholmlund — Saturday, November 7th, 12:30-2PM

What You’ll Do & Take Home:
We will take natural materials from gardens and kitchens alike to make beautiful living inks. Learn the basics of ink making as we make inks in class in a wondrous array of color. We will learn about plants and minerals along the way and the ways in which they interact with each other. Each participant will take home small paintings they may have created and a vial of ink.

⭐️ Reserve your spot on our website at the link in our bio!

✏️ Bookbind Your Very Own Custom Journal with @drakesdenpdx — Saturday, November 7th, 12:30-3PM

What You’ll Do & Take Home:
Each student will create a custom 6x9 journal with up to 144 pages. Materials will be provided to design the front and back covers and stitch the journals together. There will be a selection of prepped page bundles (lined, watercolor, sketchbook, and dotted), of which everyone may choose up to 12 and order however they see fit. While class won’t go through the entire process of coptic bookbinding start to finish, everyone will learn the stitching process and be able to take home their completed journal, along with documentation of the prep steps.

⭐️ Reserve your spot on our website at the link in our bio!

✏️ Introduction to Postcrossing (International Postcard Exchange) with @kraftstudio.pdx — Saturday, November 7th, 3-4:30PM

What You’ll Do & Take Home:
The Postcrossing forum was created in 2005 by Pablo Magalhaes when he was a student in Portugal. He loved receiving postcards and knew he wasn’t alone, so Postcrossing was born as a means to exchange more fun mail. The goal is simple: for each postcard you send, you receive one back from a different random postcrosser somewhere else in the world. In this session we will get you signed taken in Olympic Mills Building by @nwstationeryfest
