THE NORTHWEST TEA FESTIVAL is the premier festival in the Pacific Northwest celebrating the world’s favorite beverage - Tea! Sept 26-27, 2026

POSTS STORIES REELS

Some people vacation. We go on tea tours. 😂🫖

Day two at the Northwest Tea Festival went well beyond tastings. We sat in on classes and demonstrations, experienced a traditional Japanese tea ceremony, and spent time meeting and connecting with some incredible people in the tea industry.

Those conversations and connections were every bit as valuable as what we learned. We’re heading back to Texas with new relationships, fresh ideas, and an even greater appreciation for the traditions and people behind every cup.

Now the question is... where should the Ruby Tea Tour go next? Know a tea festival we need to experience? Drop it below! 👇🫖

Another busy day, with a strong crowd and plenty of energy throughout the hall. The enthusiasm for tea hasn’t slowed down. by @nwteafestival

Day one at the Northwest Tea Festival gave us plenty of inspiration! 🫖

We met some amazing vendors, tasted our way through plenty of teas, and found a few favorites, including almond and cherry vanilla. Needless to say, we stayed VERY hydrated and VERY caffeinated. 😂

The tea classes were a highlight too. A tea mocktail class recreated a whiskey sour using only tea, no alcohol, and it was incredibly complex and delicious. The wheels are turning. 👀

Add in beautiful teaware and adorable tea pets, and a few things may just be coming back to Texas with us.

Back for day two today! 🫖

Day 2 @nwteafestival by @nwteafestival

A busy first day, with a steady crowd throughout the hall and a Tea Bar that stayed busy, orderly, and easy to navigate.

What I noticed most was how many different reasons brought people into the same space: tasting, learning, asking questions, meeting others, or simply spending some time with tea.

That mix is part of what makes a tea festival interesting to watch from the inside. by @nwteafestival

Do you know that the @nwteafestival looks very different before the visitors arrive?

Boxes are still being opened, tables are still being arranged, signs are going up, and every exhibitor is deciding what to put in front of people.

That part interests me almost as much as the festival itself. Because before anyone tastes a tea, the way it is packaged, displayed, described, and positioned already tells you something about how that tea is being presented to the market.

Everyone get you kettles on and your tea out because the Northwest Tea Festival starts tomorrow! Our final vendor spotlight is...Jing Si Books and Cafe is a wonderful tea shop, with its fully organic tea farm in Taiwan. With many traditional teas (such as many types of Roasted Oolong), soaps, food and recipes, and tea books, Jing Si Books and Cafe's hand picked tea is a staple for your tea collection. Know before you go! Read the festival FAQ. Note new security procedures:

There will be a security gate that all attendees will need to walk through on the way into the hall. If the gate flags you for further screening, you will need to follow the instructions of the security personnel. Security will not be inspecting bags or personal belongings and we do not expect the increased security to slow down the flow into the hall.
