This past weekend, Logan Doll was awarded Junior Male Athlete of the Year at the Sport North annual awards banquet!

We are very happy to recognize Logan Doll for his achievements in sport, especially in squash! Logan is a formidable athlete who excels in almost every activity he participates in. The 2025-2026 season has been an exceptional one for Logan as he participated in multiple sports and placed in most of them including Tennis at the Canada Summer Games, Track at the annual Track and Field Meet in Hay River, Snowshoe Biathlon at the Arctic Winter Games and, of course, squash at the Canadian Junior Open and Canadian Junior Championships amongst other events.

🏆 Territorial Tournament Prep Starts NOW

The NWT Squash Territorial Championships are coming up May 27 to 31st. It’s time to sharpen the basics that win matches

🎯 **Drill: Hitting Straight Length**
One of the most important skills in squash is controlling the rally and keeping your opponent stuck in the back.

**How to do it:**
• Set up on one side (forehand or backhand)
• Hit straight drives. Good length + control
• Focus on consistency over power
• Try to keep the ball tight to the wall every time

🔥 **Challenge:**
Can you hit your target? You can start with something larger, like a pylon, and work your way to a smaller and smaller mark

This is the kind of simple, focused work that makes a HUGE difference when it counts. The players who control length… control the match.

And don’t forget to sign up for Territorials!! All Levels welcome✨
