I know what I’m called to contribute.
I’m still learning what it’s supposed to look like.

For a while, I thought clarity meant knowing the entire route. Now I’m realizing I can understand the mission and still leave room for God to reveal the vehicle.

I can plan. I can build. I can keep moving.

And still let Him direct my steps.

Proverbs 16:9

Maybe the vision hasn’t changed. Maybe only the vehicle is being revealed.

If the title never came, but the lives you touched were changed… would the work still be enough?

I almost missed how much God had already changed in me.

Some things I used to have to practice now feel natural.

Sometimes growth becomes so normal that we stop recognizing it as growth.

So while you’re asking God what’s next, pause and ask:

What has He already changed in me?

Isaiah 43:19
“See, I am doing a new thing.”

Sometimes I’m asking God, “When is it coming?”

But maybe the better question is:

Who are You preparing me to be when it does?

Because receiving something and being ready to carry it are two different things.

More money requires stewardship.
More influence puts more weight on your character.
Even the relationship you prayed for requires a version of you that knows how to show up for it.

Maybe the wait is not only about the answer.

Maybe some of it is about preparation.

We spend so much of our lives trying to get to the next part.

The money.
The relationship.
The success.
The version of life we think will finally feel like arrival.

But the building years count too.
The figuring-it-out years count too.
The ordinary days count too.

I still want the dreams. I still want to build. I just don’t want to rush through my life trying to get to my life.

The middle is the point. 🤎
