Teenage Nyam loved the boys who could dance and were softies even in their Timbs. Grown Nyam must remember they are men now😂🤭.

Nairobi it’s been Phenomenal! I return recharged, intrigued, appreciated, amused and confused about my citizenship 😂

The hospitality and engagements were so affirming, gentle and delicious for my soul. I see why Kenya was home for Mdu and Mbali 😍😍😍. I carried my brothers spirit of adventure this trip and boy did we adventure 😂😎.

Look at what my mama made 😮‍💨🤭

My mama taught me how to read and write and beat her at scrabble by the time was turning 4. She was a Program manager n facilitator in the Human Rights space and a BAWS in general… She shares all that wealth with me and is also really pretty. Can u blame me for my condition? Surrender, suspended and play

@la_classiciste and I tried air #yoga today 🙌🏽
I have never felt so scared and held
The safety of the bough and my bones
I felt like playing, crying, testing myself, supporting and encouraging myself through newness and trembling movements

I don’t subscribe to “no pain no gain” but this was an experience in the spirit behind the saying… when I support myself through pain I am able and mighty.

Big chats with my ego who wanted to give up before trying… also funny moments that dared me to laugh at myself (I discovered a hole in my tights during an air squat that felt like my labia wanted to poke out😂😂😂😂) I’m sure the instructor got an eyeful🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I wonder which ancestors came to play and how they enjoyed it… by @nyaminess

Woooo…where am I with my grief?
Oscillating between calm acceptance and devastation. Where are you?
I imagine you calmly detached from your body. I’m sure Mbali ran into your arms and many more of our people greeted your and guided you home (not like you’d pretend to do when eating my food). I know our gogos made you more than you can eat and put star dust on your wounds. I see you and your malumes embracing and connecting for a long time. I hope you went to see our aunties and shared laughs with them as well. I imagine your relief, overwhelming love and belonging at your homecoming.

Transitioning on Vday was such a poetic move🤌🏾🤭 so typical of you. We miss you so much and yet understand… u had completed your part of the plan.

While u may not have to deal with capitalism and people anymore, u transitioned after I learned to Phahla soooo…. 👀😂. So we’ll chat soon.
