Standing above Padar Island⛰️, looking over three incredible bays, each with its own colour, character, and story.

🤍 White Beach — bright, peaceful, and tropical. Soft white sand melting into crystal-clear turquoise water. A little piece of paradise.

🩷 Pink Beach — the iconic one. Tiny red coral fragments blend with the white sand, creating that famous pink shoreline. Almost too perfect to be real.

🖤 Black Beach — dark volcanic sand meeting deep blue water, creating a completely different atmosphere. A reminder that Padar’s beauty isn’t just tropical — it’s volcanic, wild, and raw.

Three completely different beaches, shaped by nature in three different ways. 🌊

Growing up in Africa, I never imagined I’d be the one diving into the open ocean. 🌍🌊

When I was a kid, I used to watch people diving in the ocean on TV and wonder, “How can they be so brave to go into the open ocean? 🌊👦🏾
The ocean was something I was genuinely scared of.

Fast forward to today… I’m the one underwater in that same ocean I once feared. 🌊🤿👦🏾

12 meters deep on my very first scuba dive, surrounded by manta rays, whale sharks, beautiful reefs, soft corals, moray eels, curious parrotfish and gobies. 🐠🪸🦈🐟

Breathing underwater, facing a fear I once had, and simply living in the moment.

What once looked impossible to me on TV became one of the most incredible experiences of my life. From watching the ocean on a screen to becoming part of its world.
