💙 A few of my favorite things… These art pieces from @tatianapoblah bring me so much joy when I walk into this room! You can find more of her amazing art at tatianapoblah.com 🫶🏽 And, of course, my two rescued fur babies. They are such sweet and beautiful weirdos. 😸😹 #art #womenartists #blackartist #adoptdontshop #catsofinstagram taken in Manhattan, New York by @nycfancypants3

I received this gorgeous floral arrangement from @franzjamesfloral in Harlem. I don't think I've ever seen a more beautiful arrangement! One week later (2nd photo) and they are still beautiful. Thank you to my baby cousin for this wonderful gift. 💐 taken in Harlem by @nycfancypants3

@therevivalists perform live at Tipitina's for Save our Stages Fest.#therevivalists #tipitinas #livemusic 🧡 If you love going to see amazing live music at independent music venues (you know, the intimate ones where you can see raw emotions being poured out with every note and hit songs are tried out and legends are born) then you must help! Support The National Independent Venue Association @nivassoc. Go to saveourstages.com to donate. Also if you click "Action" on the web page, there is a letter to congress already written. You just have to sign and send. #sosfest #saveourstages #nivea taken in Manhattan, New York by @nycfancypants3

This past Tuesday I was supposed to be enjoying a @kingsofleon concert in Newcastle, England. I am consoling myself with this wonderful memory of KOL performing Sex on Fire in 2017 at the Hollywood Bowl. I didn’t record all of it because the need to be in the moment was too strong! As usual. I actually don’t disparage people who take video at shows (as long as they aren’t being obnoxious) because I love finding them on YouTube and experiencing or reliving the moment. I’m so glad I have this moment of the whole crowd singing along. It was magical! #hollywoodbowl #kingsofleon #livemusic #supportmusicvenues #concertposter by @nycfancypants3

Without support from Congress, 90% of NIVA’s independent venues, festivals & promoters across America say they will be forced to close their doors forever. Congress will be voting THIS MONTH, so they need your help NOW!Simply fill out this quick form at https://www.nivassoc.org/take-action to send a letter to Congress. The form for the letter is already filled in, you just have to add your information. It takes less than 30 seconds! #saveourstages #livemusic #supportlocalbusiness
