🗣️ For years we have pushed our city to vote 🗳️ and took on the roles/responsibilities of foot soldiers and messengers. THIS YEAR we decided to take it a step further, get to the root and lay down a solid foundation by getting our people to register 📋‼️✍🏿

First and foremost we want to thank our fellow NYC Grad chapter member Kenneth “Kenny” Woods (Owner of @sylviasrestaurant and member of @gphig.1962 since 1976) for allowing us to conduct our Voter Registration while simultaneously 🎈 🥳 celebrating the 62nd Anniversary of Sylvia’s Harlem Restaurant, Queen of Soul Food 👑❤️‍🔥
A special thank you to all the neighboring chapters who came out to assist us, support the cause and help serve over 800 people with food for their stomachs and food for thought 💭

Fellowmen @mrlesore (Kenyatta LeSeur) and @neon_cerry99 (Keon Berry) led 🤟🏿 Groove York City 🗽 this past weekend as they participated in @riders4rights “COMMUNITY GIVEBACK DAY” 🌐 in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his observed holiday. Groceries, Food, Clothing, Footwear and so much more was donated and then given away for free even in the midst of the rainy weather. FROM GLOOMY TO GROOVY so it seems was the theme. Also many thanks to the participation of Fellowmen @duhpeshkey (Kasiem Aboti Walters and @diehardmlc (Paul White) as they also donated and supported the cause. But a very SPECIAL SHOUT OUT TO Fellowman @thatmangifted (Walter Jackson) of @sixdeucemagz for traveling all the way from New Jersey to capture such care and creativity side by side in a combination like no other. You all are appreciated and living proof that his dream did indeed come true and that new dreamers have continued the legacy by carrying the mantle of the torch that is still being passed down. HAPPY MLK JR. DAY ✨🖤💫🤎

Gratitude speaks volumes, and for Fellowman Kasiem Walters, Groove Phi Groove’s very own Trans1ator, it’s all about finding faith and understanding during tough times. Not only did he share his perspective, but he signed it as well, showing us the power of expression in every form. 🔥🔥
