Any HAAS techs out there on a holiday weekend that can walk me through how to activate Service Mode on an NGC control? Had to replace spindle drive belt, now trying to align dogs but can’t enter service mode to set spindle orientation. Did it once before with same $800-ish USB service key but no-go now …… #haasautomation #servicekey #notworking by @nydls30

#Instamachinist #HaasAutomation #SideHustle …….. have tried a lot of things in the past to create a single file that contained all of the header info in my cluster flock of files on my CNC ……… spent a little time with AI and voila had a terminal command for my Mac that got it all in less than a minute. About 4000 lines of header information in one file by folder and filename by @nydls30

Have wanted to make tombstones with A-arm supports but never figured out a good way to get a center support hole concentric with the #RockLock base. Then realized if I did both ends in the fourth in one shot it might work …… and it worked well enough for my purposes 😂😂👍👍. #instamachinist #notamachinist #learnbydoing #Haasautomation #Sidehustle ##TM2P by @nydls30

If any of you #Instamachinist folks need tool holders @Maritool #Maritool gets highest marks for customer service …… had an issue I needed help with and made an inquiry via their website. A few minutes later got an email from Frank Mari to help me work through it, a few emails back and forth and now all good to go. 👍👍😎😎⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #MadeInUSA by @nydls30

Is the #Kennametal #MSCDirect numbering scheme intended to create endless CF’s of part number chasing ?? Would think that finding the non-Weldon equivalent of an existing tool would be a trivial task and maybe for the geniuses at either company it is but for this customer is an exercise in futility 👎👎👎👎 by @nydls30
