They called the first one a fluke. So the Giants went out and did it again.

Manning to Manningham. Zero margin for error. Two feet in. One of the greatest throws EVER.

And when it mattered most, the Giants’ defense shut the door, even with Brady getting one last shot.

18 years ago today, the New York Giants delivered the greatest upset in NFL history, stunning the undefeated New England Patriots. One iconic drive. One unforgettable catch. Eli Manning, Plaxico Burress, and David Tyree ended Tom Brady and The Patriots’ quest for perfection.

“This [the tundra] is temporary, a Super Bowl is the permanent.”

- Michael Strahan at Pre Game of the 2007 NFC Championship.

In what was already turning into a magical, unexpected run, the Giants would face their biggest challenge yet en route to Super Bowl 42: sub-zero temperatures.

The team didn’t flinch, as they were able to take down Brett Farve and The Green Bay Packers in overtime. The final game of the 2007 NFL season was set. The 10-6 New York Giants vs. Tom Brady and the Undefeated New England Patriots.

After knocking off the Buccaneers in Tampa Bay during the Wild Card round, the road-warrior Giants rolled into Arlington and broke Jerry Jones’ heart. Despite going 0–2 against Dallas in the regular season, New York rose to the moment when it mattered most, defeating the Cowboys to punch their ticket to the NFC Championship Game.

Next up: Brett Favre and the Green Bay Packers.

It’s that time of the year again where we start reminiscing on the good ole days.

MetLife Stadium has been open for almost 15 years, and between two teams, there’s only been one Playoff game hosted there lmaoooo. Really giving the Season Ticket holders a good return on their investment.

The Giants are 8-30 in their last 38 games. 4 of 8 of those wins came when we were looooooong eliminated from Playoff Contention.

Giants will pick somewhere between 3 and 6 depending on how these 4 PM games go. by @nygiantstape
