I love this round of the #hazysunshineblanket designed by @cornwallcrochet It takes the sunshine 🌞 and tames it 🀩 When making a motif blanket do you have a favourite round too? #crochet #virka #crochetblanket #rainbowcrochet by @nyhem_craft
On a rainy grey Thursday, here is a little throwback to a couple of years ago when the day was brighter, and the apples still on the tree. Complemented by the blankets that seem to grow there πŸ˜„ #sophiesuniverse by @barbertondaisy #dhistoirenaturelleblanket by @aspoonfulofyarn #seasidestashbustingblanket and #beachcombingblanket both by @coastalcrochet three of these are @scheepjes CALs, they have a new one which started yesterday, which is also being hosted by Eleanora @coastalcrochet - do go check it out πŸ₯°πŸ€© I hope you find some glimmers in your day today ✨️ #throwbackthursday by @nyhem_craft
Happy Friday! After a very dark grey start, the sun is starting to peek through, and bring out the colours in this gorgeous yarn. It has been a little slower making squares this week as I have been a bit distracted by tiny rabbits and making a cloth bound book. (Including making glue and book cloth for the first time). But it is always lovely to come back to a bit of peaceful crochet. This is the #hazysunshineblanket designed by @cornwallcrochet I hope you have a fun filled crafty weekend planned. Have you ever tried making a notebook? Do you have any tips to share? by @nyhem_craft
Throwback Thursday to last autumn when I finally (after about 12 years) finished this blanket. It was such a relief to complete this project, having been on my to-do list for so long πŸ˜„ #mysticallanterns by @janiecrow #crochettree #autumncolours by @nyhem_craft
Maybe these lagoon yarn balls should be renamed "colours of autumn" They are so pretty to work with 🀩 Squares are working towards being a #hazysunshineblanket designed by Debbie from @cornwallcrochet Yarn #lagoon by @yarnsmiths by @nyhem_craft
Day 30 Yarn Friends Rock What a beautiful month. Maybe I haven't kept up with @yarnfriendsrock all month, but it has been lots of fun popping in when I could, and not stressing when I couldn't. I leave the month having seen so many gorgeous things and found some lovely new yarny friends 🧑 Welcome to my little corner of this mad interweb world 🧢 Thank you for another lovely yarny month for #yarnfriendsrock2026 @yarnfriendsrock hosted by @unicornpuffsandrainbows @brightbag and @sewing_the_seeds_of_love by @nyhem_craft
Day 28 Crafting Table This table sits in the corner of my sitting room and is always covered in all things crafty. At the front (actually on the sofa rather than the table) squares of @cornwallcrochet #hazysunshineblanket To the right @coolcrafting Mini #lunalapin with a further 2 cut out ready to make In the middle @corrinelapiere #racoons - awaiting little girl racooon. There is also a dress waiting to be made (for the little rabbits) and some lego I was given recently πŸ˜„πŸ˜ƒ All kids of things waiting for the right moment to get to play πŸ₯°πŸ€© Do you have one craft or many? #yarnfriendsrock2026 @yarnfriendsrock hosted by @unicornpuffsandrainbows @brightbag and @sewing_the_seeds_of_love by @nyhem_craft
Day 26 Wrapped in love These blankets hold so many stories of being wrapped around loved ones, from cats to humans πŸ₯°πŸ€©πŸŒˆ I like to think they hold the stories and pass on the love to those in need. πŸ’– πŸ’• #yarnfriendsrock2026 @yarnfriendsrock hosted by @unicornpuffsandrainbows @brightbag and @sewing_the_seeds_of_love by @nyhem_craft

Excited to get to play with these πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒ I've fallen in love with both the #hexaflorablanket and #hazysunshineblanket both designed by @cornwallcrochet I haven't quite decided what I'm going to do, but hope to have lots of fun! πŸ₯°πŸ€© Thank you to @woolwarehouse for the order, I think I may have to limit buying yarn till I'm on holiday in the UK though, the import taxes were almost more than the yarn 😭 by @nyhem_craft
Day 18 Reflections Oh it has been another day of beautiful posts! Here are some of my all time favourite reflection photos I've taken. The first was a couple of years ago while I was making the Down by the sea blanket designed by @coastalcrochet The others are sunrises and the aurora borealis πŸŒ…πŸŒŒ #yarnfriendsrock2026 @yarnfriendsrock hosted by @unicornpuffsandrainbows @brightbag and @sewing_the_seeds_of_love by @nyhem_craft
