🎃🏃‍♂️ TRICK OR TROT 5K! 🏃‍♀️🎻

I’m excited to be joining @epicruncompany Trick or Trot 5K this Halloween in Bethlehem, PA as the DJ Violinist for race day!

I’ll be there to kick things off, keep the energy going throughout the event, and bring everybody home across the finish line with plenty of music, violin, and Halloween vibes. 🎻🎧⚡️

And while I won’t actually be running with everyone on race day, I didn’t want to get off that easy… 😏

I’ve been training to run the Trick or Trot 5K course myself a few days beforehand as a test run — so when Halloween rolls around, I can officially say I completed it too! Then on race day, I’ll happily trade the running shoes for the violin and DJ setup and cheer all of YOU on. 🙌

📅 Halloween — October 31, 2026
📍 Bethlehem, PA
🎃 Costumes, running, music, family fun and Halloween energy!

Whether you’re chasing a PR, walking it with friends and family, dressing up in costume, or just coming out to enjoy the day, I’m looking forward to being part of the soundtrack.

Who’s running with us?! 👻🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️🎻

Register with Epic Run Company and I’ll see you at the finish line!

Join us tonight for an evening with Nyke Van Wyk & Friends! by @nykevanwyk

**TONIGHT Saturday Sept 5th in Jim Thorpe.**
I’m incredibly excited to return to the Mauch Chunk Opera House for one of my favorite shows of the year, An Evening with Nyke Van Wyk & Friends at the Mauch Chunk Opera House!
This night is always special to me because it gives me the chance to share the stage with some of the incredible musicians and friends I’ve had the privilege of performing with over the years. Expect a night full of great music, collaborations, solos, surprises, and plenty of moments that only happen when a group like these musicians, who I’m grateful to call friends, gets together!
If you’re anywhere near Jim Thorpe, I’d love to see you there.
Saturday, September 5
Mauch Chunk Opera House

Trying something a little different here…
Most of what I share is either live performance footage or improvised violin, but here I learned the violin part from “Paradox” by Kansas and decided to share it here.

It was a fun challenge to step away from improvising and spend some time digging into an existing part, learning the details, and putting my own performance together.

Please share your thoughts and perhaps I’ll do a few more videos like this alongside the live and improvised clips I usually post. I’d love to hear what you think and maybe what tune or solo I should take on next!

Wrong case, right lighting! The battle worn @glasserny violin before this past Saturdays performance with @proudmonkeydmb for Rockin’ The Mountain in Hazelton, PA.
I thought this track from a Lofi EP I collaborated on with my friend @dr_blum and @sleepingsharklofi was a suiting mood for the photo.

Hey All! So excited to return to the Mauch Chunk Opera House again this year on Sept. 5th! I was unable to put this performance together last year due to a large international tour, but looking forward to having some great friends out with me this year!
