Your Daddy's Son.

I remember the month I took practicing this song over and over again and always feeling the sadness this song held.

I would firstly like to say thank you to @maya_waghorn and the amazing @mayamusicalcollective . It was such a pleasure to have worked with everyone to make this show a reality. It was also the most wonderful opportunity to sing such a challenging and emotional song that one of my idols @audramcdonald had sung in the past.

It has been absoloutley lovely hearing this back after performing this so many months ago. Whilst doing my PGCE, I have often questioned; is musical theatre some thing worth pursuing? Am I talented enough? Should I have gone straight into auditioning after graduating from my MT degree? Am I doing the right thing? And I think, that although having this gap to pursue something else for a year, pursuing this little passion of mine may well and truly be worth it. : )

Still can’t quite believe this chapter has closed! I’ve now finished my MT degree and wrapped it all up with a show I’ll never forget. 🧟‍♂️ 🎭✨
This year stretched and shaped me in ways I didn’t expect. There were quiet wins, big lessons, and moments that reminded me just how much growth can come from simply keeping going.
Grateful for the people, the opportunities, the challenges, and the joy; all of which taught me more than words can say.
On to whatever comes next, with a full heart. 💚
