We just had to share this very special moment! 💚

Dr Ron Beatson at his investiture ceremony at Government House in Wellington, where he was presented with the insignia of an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to horticulture by Her Excellency, the Right Honourable Cindy Kiro, Governor-General of New Zealand.

We couldn’t be prouder of you, Dr Ron. After more than 40 years of passion, dedication and leadership, your contribution to the development of New Zealand’s hop varieties has been truly remarkable.

You are a legend, Dr Ron, and it has been our absolute honour to work with you.

Congratulations on this very well-deserved recognition! 🌿👏 💚

Let me take you back to the 2010s, aka the teens. Bitcoin was making headlines, Netflix was asking if we were still watching, and YouTube and Spotify were changing how we consumed content forever.

At the movies, it was undoubtedly the Marvel era. We danced the invisible horse dance to Gangnam Style, squeezed into skinny jeans, perfected the selfie, and spent countless hours scrolling our feeds. Drake, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran and Adele dominated our playlists, while Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead and Breaking Bad kept us glued to our screens.

It was also the decade when these little hop cones of deliciousness came out to play 💚

Spring is here: 🪻
A chance to work our Organic hop blocks ready for stringing soon.
Our biggest challenge with growing organics is weed control; cultivating up close to each plant is our best option. taken in Tasman, New Zealand by @nzhopsltd

A brilliant couple of days at @rivingtonfarmtrip 🍻 Set against the stunning backdrop of the Lancashire countryside at the foot of Rivington Pike, it was great to catch up with brewers from across the UK, Europe and the USA. Even better to see so many beers featuring NZ hops. Thanks to the Rivington team for a fantastic weekend! 🌿🇳🇿💚

E-Fish-ency 🐟🐠We are lucky to be in a coastal environment where we have the opportunity to utilize what is considered to be a waste product to some, an excellent natural fertiliser to us. Today we are out spreading a powdered form. We also have availability of liquid forms that we would generally use when the hops are out of the ground and have a good leaf cover. Sooooo many natural goodies for the hops and our soil health now going out on our fields in this lovely spring weather 🚜🌱 @nzhopsltd by @nzhopsltd

Same recipe. An extra layer of Nectaron®️ HyperBoost®️.

We teamed up with @TwoFlintsBrewery to put Nectaron®️ HyperBoost®️ to the test.

This wasn’t about reinventing an existing beer or replacing the hops already in the recipe. Instead, we took a beer the team already knew and loved and added Nectaron®️ HyperBoost®️ into the fermentation process to amplify the aroma further.

The result? A boost of vibrant Nectaron®️ aromatics, adding extra layers of pineapple, peach, and citrus character without altering the beer’s established identity.

Developed through the collaboration between Yakima Chief Hops and @nzhopsltd , Nectaron®️ HyperBoost®️ brings an exciting new way to amplify hop aromatics and increase yield.

Nectaron®️ HyperBoost®️ is now available on our new e-commerce platform. 🔗 Link in Bio! by @nzhopsltd
