This one was hard to keep secret for so long, but we’re so excited to announce that our White Chocolate Tahini Cookies are featured in @leah.koenig's newest book, the Dessert Table!

When Leah reached out to us a couple of years ago, we were a bit starstruck, because long before Oak opened, we were big fans and owned a number of her cookbooks. We’re just so grateful for this opportunity and couldn’t be happier about it.

If you don’t have a copy yet, the best place to grab one is on October 24th at @stockpvd where Leah will be doing a baking demo and book signing. We’re beyond excited to introduce the Doggy Door - a little something for our four-legged friends! While it’s technically a window, this name has a better ring to it. Swipe to learn more!

At the Doggy Door you can order house made treats and pup cups, and we’ll even have a little Instax camera if you want to have a photo of your pup featured in the window!

This is Joey, the inspiration for the whole thing.

The Doggy Door will follow our normal operating hours of Tuesday to Sunday, 7am to 2pm, and Saturday + Sunday, 7am to 3pm. In the event of any last minute changes, we’ll be sure to post to our story.

So that we can keep a good flow going inside the cafe, and because we like to take everything slow and steady here at Oak, we do have a few ground rules. While you can’t order coffee/treats (for humans) at the window, you CAN pickup any preorders placed online. Just keep in mind that we do have a 15 minute prep time for all online orders!

We just realized it’s been over a week since we posted on here, oops! Yesterday we launched this Brown Butter Pumpkin Pound Cake which is here to stay for the fall! It also means Tahini & Halva is on it’s way out, so get it while you can!
